Story
Alice is a sweet 7 year old, 38 pound Labradoodle. Rescued from a puppy mill, she had a very difficult life and is now discovering all the wonderful things the world has to offer. Alice is truly as sweet as can be and has a very soulful and gentle nature. She would thrive in a quiet, patient home that can help her continue to flourish. Alice is crate trained and working on her house training. She enjoys going for walks and is great on the leash. Don’t you want to help this girl experience the good life? Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
Oliver is a very sweet, friendly 4 year old labradoodle. My ex partner and I got him from a breeder (Labradoodles of Long Island) when we were living together in Long Island and he came home at 7 weeks. He is very very good with house training, has never bitten another dog or human, and overall has a great temperament but he is a jumper. He is the love of my life but, since my partner and I separated, he has not done well in a small apartment without outdoor space. Due to the separation I also need to go back to in person work and am just generally unable to meet his needs. He would do very well in a home with more space, kids, other dogs (maybe not cats but he isn't aggressive with them). He does have chronic gastritis / GI issues but I would be willing to contribute to any vet bills if I can keep in touch with him. Up to date on all vaccinations, recently had a full blood work panel, and dental cleaning. I have many more photos that I am not able to upload.. just ask!

Story
*Name: Cinnamon *Age: 10 months old *Current Weight: 30-35 lbs  *Adoption fee: $550 (plus $150 spay/neuter deposit, see below for more information) Cinnamon is the kind of dog who will quietly steal your heart without ever demanding the spotlight. This sweet girl is very shy at first and takes her time learning to trust, but once she feels safe, her gentle, loving nature truly shines. She absolutely loves other dogs and finds so much comfort and confidence in having a canine companion by her side. A home with a friendly, patient dog would be her dream come true and will help her continue to blossom. Cinnamon is looking for a calm, quiet home where she can move at her own pace and feel secure—because of her sensitive nature, she would do best in an adult-only home with no kids. Loud environments just aren’t her style, but give her peace, patience, and love, and you’ll watch her slowly come out of her shell in the most beautiful way. If you believe the best bonds are the ones built with time, trust, and a little bit of magic… Cinnamon might just be your perfect match!  IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled. To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/ PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR FAQs  ##2628520##

Please visit www.wtfarmtn.org to submit an adoption application to adopt Cheyenne. All dogs are spayed/neutered (3+ months old) Fully vaccinated: Rabies, DAPPv, Lepto, Lyme, Bordetella Microchipped Dewormed and received preventatives for fleas/ticks/giardia/coccidia/worms Visit Atrius' Facebook photo album: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?vanity=wtfarmtn&set=a.1252502883725361 🐾 Meet Atrius! 🐾 Age: 3 years | Breed: Doodle | Gender: Male Atrius is starting over—and he’s doing it with resilience and heart. 💛 After his previous owner could no longer provide for him, Atrius was surrendered to animal control. When he arrived, he was severely matted—so much so that it caused bruising on his body. But that’s already behind him. He’s been groomed, vaccinated, microchipped, and is finally feeling relief and comfort again. Like many doodles, Atrius is currently being treated for an ear infection, but he’s on the mend and ready for a brighter future. Despite everything he’s been through, Atrius has proven to be a wonderful companion. He’s crate trained, walks on a leash (though still working on not pulling), and does great in the car. He’s also learning house training and is making steady progress. Atrius gets along great with other dogs and is curious about cats. He’s looking for a home that will continue his care, keep up with his grooming needs, and give him the structure and love he deserves. This sweet boy has been through a lot, but his future is full of promise. He’s ready for someone who will see his worth and give him the happy life he’s been waiting for. 🐶 Apply to adopt Atrius: www.wtfarmtn.org

Story
Selah was adopted as a puppy during COVID... and sadly, returned a little over a year later. Selah literally grew up during a time when people and their dogs couldn't spend time together, so she was extremely under socialized when she returned to the shelter. Selah struggled to connect with and trust people. Selah is a super smart girl who excels at agility training, has her basic commands down, and is perfecting walking on a loose leash! She has formed strong bonds with the staff and volunteers who she knows and recently started socializing with other dogs. Selah loves the people she trusts, but we know that for now, she would do best in a quiet and active hope without young children or other dogs. Selah is a slow burn who requires a few meets before she's comfortable around you. But once you're in, you're in for life! We hope someone out there will give Selah the opportunity to show them how special she is if you give her just a little patience.
