Story
Oliver is a very sweet, friendly 4 year old labradoodle. My ex partner and I got him from a breeder (Labradoodles of Long Island) when we were living together in Long Island and he came home at 7 weeks. He is very very good with house training, has never bitten another dog or human, and overall has a great temperament but he is a jumper. He is the love of my life but, since my partner and I separated, he has not done well in a small apartment without outdoor space. Due to the separation I also need to go back to in person work and am just generally unable to meet his needs. He would do very well in a home with more space, kids, other dogs (maybe not cats but he isn't aggressive with them). He does have chronic gastritis / GI issues but I would be willing to contribute to any vet bills if I can keep in touch with him. Up to date on all vaccinations, recently had a full blood work panel, and dental cleaning. I have many more photos that I am not able to upload.. just ask!

Meet Leo! Leo is a happy and playful 1-year-old black Labradoodle weighing 46 pounds. Hes a typical young dog who loves to play, go for walks, and spend time with other dogs. Once he gets to know you, hell happily give you lots of kisses! Because Leo sometimes jumps up to greet people when excited, a home with older children would be ideal. Leo is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and ready for his forever home! Apply to adopt Leo: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/POSH/Dog

Luna is an energetic girl, she loves to play fetch, and she loves to eat. She knows a few cool tricks. I got her from a guy on Craigslist and he told me she was about 6 months, I haven’t been able to take her to the vet yet to confirm her age. I’m looking no for a new home because my family schedule doesn’t permit to being able to give her out full attention and love. She’s a good girl and very happy. She is a perfect family dog.

*Name: Cinnamon *Age: 1 year old  *Current Weight: 40 lbs  *Adoption fee: $475 (plus $150 spay/neuter deposit, see below for more information) Cinnamon is the kind of dog who will quietly steal your heart without ever demanding the spotlight. This sweet girl is very shy at first and takes her time learning to trust, but once she feels safe, her gentle, loving nature truly shines. She absolutely loves other dogs and finds so much comfort and confidence in having a canine companion by her side. A home with a friendly, patient dog would be her dream come true and will help her continue to blossom. Cinnamon is looking for a calm, quiet home where she can move at her own pace and feel secure—because of her sensitive nature, she would do best in an adult-only home with no kids. Loud environments just aren’t her style, but give her peace, patience, and love, and you’ll watch her slowly come out of her shell in the most beautiful way. If you believe the best bonds are the ones built with time, trust, and a little bit of magic… Cinnamon might just be your perfect match!  IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled. To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/ PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR FAQs  ##2628520##

Story
Hattie has already overcome so much in her short little puppy life, and now all she needs is someone to love her forever. Born around April 1, this precious Lab/Redbone Hound mix puppy came into the world as one of nine beautiful babies born to a sweet Redbone Coonhound mix mom  who is now spayed and settled in her forever home. Sadly, food was scarce where they started life, and little Hattie arrived to the Critter Cavalry Rescue much too thin and right away started a rebuild program to put on more puppy weight and to enjoy all the puppy chow she wants during 4 meals a day. Despite everything, her spirit has never stopped shining and her curiosity has not been dimmed about the new life around her. There isn't a sweeter puppy than Hattie. She greets every person with a wagging tail, a hopeful heart, and those irresistible floppy Hound ears and sweet eyes that dissolve your heart. She makes everyone smile. Such a gentle soul and seems to believe that everyone she meets is there to be her new friend. She along with her littermates are amazingly smart and she has mastered pee pad training in no time.  She is ready to learn more new things and to understand more about why it is important to know how to be crated. She loves other dogs, is wonderful with cats, and enjoys making new human friends of all ages. Her soft, blonde coat is as beautiful as her heart. One minute she's racing across the yard like a tiny gazelle, soaking up every new adventure, and the next she's curled up beside you, perfectly content to snuggle close. Those quiet cuddle moments are her favorite. We expect Hattie to grow into a gorgeous, athletic girl weighing around 45–50 pounds. She would love a home with a securely fenced yard where she can safely run, play, and simply enjoy being the carefree puppy she's always deserved to be.  Every puppy deserves a happy beginning. Hattie didn't start out that way—but her story is far from over and we have promised her and her littermates that they will get the best families that can be found.  Somewhere, her family is waiting. The family who will show her that she'll never wonder where her next meal is coming from, that she'll always have a soft bed to sleep in, and that she'll be cherished every single day of her life.Could that family be yours? If your heart is telling you that Hattie belongs with you, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com to learn more about adopting her.We transport to many northeastern states and also adopt to families throughout Tennessee. Give Hattie the happy ending she's been waiting for—and she'll spend a lifetime making you grateful you did.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 18, 2026, 12:23 am

Story
Bradley Cooper is what we call a Fireworks Dog.  Found in the middle of the road and scared on a Pre-Fourth of July evening on July 3rd, this handsome dog was terrified as it was storming and early fireworks were going off on the evening before the 4th of July.  His kind rescuer couple saw his distress and confusion and took him home to clean him up and sooth his nerves.  Their reassurance and kindness got an immediate response of joy, tail wags and gratitude from Brady Cooper.  He seemed to know that he was safe and cared for the moment they got him home. What you will see immediately about Brady Cooper is that he has a heart of gold and the desire to be friends quickly with everyone he meets.  Even at the vet's office when he was delivered to be neutered, he won all of the office staff over immediately with his refreshingly easy going temperament and his smile. He loves to be around people and he wins them over every time.  He is still a puppy and jumps up when he gets excited like a lot of dogs do when they are starved for attention and not taught how to be good and mindful of their size.  A little training and the jumping can subside and go away. Bradley Cooper appears to be a yellow Lab/Golden Retriever mix and is young at only one year and weighs 57 pounds.  This golden nugget has never made a mess inside or in his kennel as long as he has been in foster care. This boy loves going for walks and playing in the fenced in yard.  There is nothing like being around a dog that has a sunshine soul that will make your worries go away when you are with him.  Do yourself a favor.... consider adopting this wonderful boy we call Bradley Cooper.  Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested in receiving our official adoption form.  He is currently in Nashville, TN and we transport northward every weekend.

Story
Once upon a time, on the 9th of March, a very special litter of puppies was born… Princess Cassie is one of those lucky babies — a Hound/Lab mix pup born to a Redbone Coonhound mix momma who was a stray.  Life didn’t start out easy for this little family of 9 puppies.  Due to circumstances beyond their control,Princess Cassie and her siblings, and their mama weren’t getting the nutrition and care they needed. A humane society in their county was called to take the puppies when they were almost 4 months old but in very thin and underweight shape.  They have been fattened up and dewormed and all 9 of the puppies are loving and sweet and want nothing more than to be on your lap or by your side.  A tad shy at first but they bond quickly and Princess Cassie is just beautiful inside and out.  Her soft and silky black fur shines like a black pearl.  Her weight is coming on slowly like it should and we feel she will be a 50 pound adult girl.  She is a quick study when it comes to stairs, pee pads and the requirement to take it her potty breaks outside.   Now safe and thriving in foster care, Sweet Princess Cassie is showing everyone just how special she is. She is a gentle, affectionate girl who does beautifully with cats, other dogs, children, and adults. She may be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, her sweet personality shines through. He’s not bold or bossy — just a curious, thoughtful pup who takes the world in with kind eyes and a wide open heart.  As a 50 pounds and should be an easy girl to love and train. She’s learning crate skills, doing well on a leash, and making great progress with potty training. Her foster family — experienced CCR fosters — are helping her learn structure, routines, and gentle boundaries, all of which she’s taking in stride. What really makes Princess Cassie special is how much he responds to love and praise. When you tell him she’s a good girl, you can see it in her eyes — she believes you. Positive reinforcement is her language, and she truly blossoms when she knows she’s loved. If you’re a Hound/Lab-loving family with a fenced yard and an appreciation for a sweet, sensitive soul, Princess may be your perfect match.Email ccrtennessee@gmail.com to learn more, and please include your city and state. Critter Cavalry Rescue is based in Tennessee but transports also along the northeastern corridor, helping pets find loving homes in over a dozen states. She is ready to help you make your summer fun complete!!!!
