Story
Meet Gabby! She is a 2.5-year-old Labradoodle weighing 43 lbs. Gabby came to us with significant hair loss from a breeding kennel (as shown in the last picture). At the time, we were unsure of the cause, but we now believe it was a hormonal imbalance, as the hair started growing back after she was spayed. She has now been groomed down to make all of the hair that she has the same length. There is a chance that the rest of the hair may never grow back, but there is also a chance that it will. Gabby is very shy at first, but is a gentle and kind soul when she warms up to you. She keeps her kennel clean, but will need some time to adjust to your new schedule. She is good with other dogs; cats are unknown, but shouldn't be an issue. She would do best with older kids, but younger kids will be okay as long as they are calm and understand to give her space if she needs it. Meet Capone 🤍 Capone has spent most of his life in a shelter, patiently waiting for a family to call his own. In December of 2025, he finally found that family and quickly showed everyone just how loving, playful, and loyal he could be. Capone is full of energy and personality. His absolute favorite thing in the world is chasing after a tennis ball, and he’s always ready for an adventure. Whether it was camping trips, fishing days, or simply relaxing out on the back patio, Capone loved being included in family time. He also formed a great bond with his dog brother, Dallas the beagle, and loved having a canine companion to play with. Unfortunately, over time Capone developed aggression toward the cats in the home, making it unsafe for him to continue living with them. Because of this, we are searching for the perfect cat-free home where Capone can truly thrive. Aside from his issues with cats, he is a loving, active dog who has so much joy and companionship to offer the right family.
