Story
Hi my name is Benson, I usually go by Ben. I have a cool beard. My dog mommy was a labradoodle, and I don’t know who my dog daddy was. I’m a little over 3 years old. I love to run, chasing squirrels, running along side the golf cart, in an open space, at the dog park. I don’t run off- and come when my humans call me. I enjoy people and other big dogs- ones I can play with and run with, because I enjoy running, and sniffing, and seeing new things. I know the basic commands, and can sit and stay, although I get a little rusty when I’m excited. My humans say I’m a good boy because I don’t have accidents in the house. I’m also crate trained for when my humans are away, I’m looking for a new home where I can exercise my long legs with an active family- camping, hiking, boating, and running with a golf cart. My human mommy wants me to find a good home and will share my crate, beds, leashes, bowls, and enough food to get me started in my new home.

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾✨ Meet Bindi — 65 Pounds of Doodle Energy, Smarts, and Fabulous Hair ✨🐾 Female • 18 Months Old • 65 lbs • Doodle Extraordinaire If you’re familiar with doodles, you already know they come with a few standard features: ✔️ Big personality ✔️ Big heart ✔️ Big energy ✔️ And hair that occasionally requires its own maintenance schedule Bindi checks every one of those boxes — and then adds a little extra sparkle. At 18 months old and 65 pounds, Bindi is right in that fun young-adult stage where she’s learned the basics but still has plenty of playful, goofy doodle enthusiasm to keep life interesting. This girl absolutely loves her people. Like… really loves them. Think “personal fan club president” level devotion. She bonds closely with her humans and wants to be right there with you for all of life’s activities — whether that’s heading out for a walk, running errands, or supervising snack preparation in the kitchen. Because Bindi loves her humans so much, she’d do best as the one-and-only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention without having to share her VIP people. And speaking of activity… Bindi is not applying for the job of Professional Couch Potato. She’s looking for a young, active family that enjoys staying busy and getting out into the world. Her dream schedule might include: • Daily walks or jogs • Weekend adventures • Puzzle toys that make her think • Backyard zoomie sessions • Supervising family activities like a curly-haired life coach Bindi is crate trained, house trained, and already has some great basic obedience skills under her belt. She’s a smart girl who truly enjoys learning, and with continued structure and activity, she’ll absolutely thrive. She’s wonderful with people of all sizes — from small humans to tall ones — though she can be a little protective of her favorite humans because she takes her “family security supervisor” role seriously. And of course, as a doodle, Bindi will need regular grooming to keep those fabulous curls looking their best. Think of it less as maintenance and more as spa day for your dog. Freshly brushed doodles are basically walking teddy bears. Bindi is the kind of dog who will fill your home with energy, laughter, and endless loyalty. With the right active family, she’ll be an incredible companion who’s always ready for the next adventure — and always ready to remind you that life is better with a doodle by your side. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and let Bindi bring the doodle energy, the curly cuddles, and the joyful chaos into your life. 🐶💛

Story
Bear is 1 year and 2 months old, I brought him home when he was a few weeks old. He was one of many puppies born with no home to go to at the time, I took him home and have cared for him for the first year but due to a busy schedule and his behavioral adaptations, he needs rehomed. He was neutered at 10 months old and after the procedure he became very reactive. He has not had proper training and is hard to control. Bear has lots of energy and is very active- he loves to play with tennis balls in the yard! He will require good training and lots of attention and patience, but with the right home he will be the best dog! He has never bitten anyone, but comes off aggressive around new people because he growls when he is in a new setting or uncomfortable.

Story
Meet Kassie — tall, sleek, sweet, and just a tiny bit convinced she’s a professional early-morning alarm clock. ⏰🐕Kassie is a 1 year, 8 month old, ~60 lb leggy lady who looks like a sighthound–Pointer–maybe-Greyhound remix, built for speed and powered by curiosity. She’s had a rough start, bouncing in and out of the shelter, but once she landed in foster care it became clear: this girl didn’t need a label — she needed structure, patience, and someone to believe in her. And wow, has she been rising to the occasion.Kassie is:💖 Very sweet and affectionate🏠 Learning the ropes of house life 💤 A crate superstar who tucks herself in at bedtime like a polite little goblin🎓 Already knows Sit and Come and responds to a whistle like a champ❄️ Shockingly obsessed with snow despite her short coat🐕 A big fan of fence-line zoomies with the neighbor dogShe’s still learning leash manners (she had opinions at first), but with the help of a Halti collar, walks are getting calmer and more focused every day. Kassie is smart, eager, and very capable — she just needs someone committed to continuing her training and helping her feel secure. Now, full disclosure from Kassie’s management team: she has a strong prey drive. Cats who calmly mind their business are usually fine, but cats who run? Kassie’s brain says, “CHASE MODE: ACTIVATED.” She has made progress with guidance and supervision, but she may do best in a cat-savvy, experienced home or one without small animals.Kassie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm tested, so she’s ready to start the next (and best) chapter of her life. Her adoption fee is $285. If you’re looking for a loyal, goofy, athletic girl who’s learning how to be the very best version of herself — and you don’t mind waking up at 6:30am — Kassie might just be your perfect match. 💕🐾 All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.
