Story
Meet Iggy, who is currently at our rescue in Oklahoma and looking for a loving family in a state where animals are treated well. He must be prepaid and picked up at one of the listed transport cities. Iggy and 3 other pups came into our rescue when a "breeder" called and wanted to surrender the pups and would harm them if we didn't take them. They claimed all 4 were Labradoodles, but they all look drastically different. We have received his DNA results and he is 65% Lab/Poodle, 29% Great Pyrenees, and the rest is Golden Retriever, Australian Cattle Dog, German Shepherd, and Beagle. Male, approx. 6 months old (as of October 31) Currently 35 pounds (October 31) Loves all attention with people or other dogs Loves water Genetic testing says he has a gene for reduced shedding. Neutered, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella), dewormed, will be microchipped On monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention Sleeps through the night in a crate Not yet housebroken or fully leash-trained Adoption fee: $900 (includes vetting and transport) Health certificate and exam completed within 10 days of transport Watch his video: https://youtube.com/shorts/BedJXY3v34k Apply to adopt Iggy: https://form.jotform.com/243134969050053 If you don’t hear back in 48 hours, please follow up at luckypawsdoghouse@gmail.com or call 580-257-0622. Story
Meet Lucy — the 29-pound bundle of scruffy perfection you didn’t know you needed. Estimated around 2 years old, Lucy came from a situation where her owner packed up and moved… and left TEN dogs behind. (Yes. Ten. Some people do not deserve dogs.) Luckily, we came along before life could deal her any more unfair cards. Lucy is listed as a Labradoodle — and if that means “Adorably Wiry Couch-Goblin with a Heart of Gold,” then yes, 1000%. Her scruffy beard game is elite, her smile is pure sunshine, and her tail is a metronome of happiness. What Lucy wants most: A home where someone appreciates her goofy charm A soft bed (or your lap — she’s not picky) Walks, snacks, and people who don’t abandon their family members She is: • Friendly with other dogs • Gentle and affectionate • Past the puppy nonsense but still playful • A professional heart-healer Lucy is vaccinated, spayed, and ready to start her real life — the one where her people stay. If you’ve been waiting for a dog who will love you like she invented the concept… Lucy is ready when you are. Adoption Fee: $250 Currently located in Fosters, AL and can be transported North (VT, PA or CT) to an adopter for an additional $200. Interested in adopting? Story
Meet Hazel — Scruffy Sweetheart Seeking Her First Real Chance Hazel is a 3-year-old, 32-lb wirehaired beauty who looks like she stepped straight out of a woodland storybook — and trust us, her heart is even better than her adorable scruffy beard. This girl came to us from a situation where she didn’t get much love, attention, or structure. But instead of letting that hold her back, Hazel has blossomed into a gentle, curious, playful companion ready to finally have a life of her own. What Hazel Offers Her Future Family: • Soft eyes that follow you everywhere • Tail wags that could power a small town • A heart full of loyalty once she trusts you • A goofy, playful side that pops out more each day Good With Dogs: Yes! Good with Cats: Unknown but likely fine with a slow intro Good With Kids: Best with calmer, respectful kids Fenced Yard: Preferred — she loves to explore! Hazel is still learning that humans can be kind. She may start out a little shy, but a gentle voice and tasty treats go a long way. Every day she becomes braver, sillier, and more affectionate. Hazel doesn’t just want a home — she wants to belong. If you’re patient, kind, and ready to celebrate the small victories… Hazel is ready to give you her whole heart. Adoption Fee: $250 Currently located in Fosters, AL and can be transported North (VT, PA or CT) to an adopter for an additional $200. Interested in adopting? Story
Meet Michelle and Luce! 💕 These girls are in need of a loving home after their owner sadly passed away. These two pups share an unbreakable bond and 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫. At just 8 years old, they are delightful doodle mixes, each weighing 45-50 pounds. 🐾 A little about Michelle… She has a natural instinct to stay alert and keep an eye out for any potential threats, she's not overly barky; she just takes her job as your protector seriously. Although she's always on duty, she is never aggressive and also knows how to kick back and relax. Although she enjoys calm, she has shown remarkable patience around kids and has never shown any aggression towards them. Both are spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. 📍 Currently in Philadelphia, PA

Story
This is Crockett, a stunning wolfhound(?)/schnauzer(?)/doodle(?)/labrador(?) mix, who was surrendered to us because city life was too exciting for him. Crockett is a big, strong boy, at almost 100lbs. He has a medium energy level and has been completely appropriate with every dog we've ever introduced him to. He is comical, eager to please, smart, affectionate.....and sometimes a bit stubborn! He is very chill and is not the kind of dog that is up in your face all the time.Crockett would do best in a suburban or rural area, with dog savvy adult owners that like to throw a ball and perhaps another dog. Due to his size, Crockett would not be a good fit for a home with children. Please note that Crockett will need regular grooming. This dog is being cared for by: National Greyhound Adoption Program 10901 Dutton Road Philadelphia, PA 19154 PA Kennel License #3069. Our adoption areas include PA, NJ, NY, CT, DE, MD, DC and NoVA.

These pups are in Allentown, Pennsylvania too!
