He enjoys exploring, playing, and sticking close to his people for cuddles. He’s friendly, easygoing, and does beautifully with kids, cats, and other dogs, making him a great fit for a family or a home with other pets. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to find a forever home where he can grow up loved and spoiled like he deserves. This is Crockett, a stunning wolfhound(?)/schnauzer(?)/doodle(?)/labrador(?) mix, who was surrendered to us because city life was too exciting for him. Crockett is a big, strong boy, at almost 100lbs. He has a medium energy level and has been completely appropriate with every dog we've ever introduced him to. He is comical, eager to please, smart, affectionate.....and sometimes a bit stubborn! He is very chill and is not the kind of dog that is up in your face all the time.Crockett would do best in a suburban or rural area, with dog savvy adult owners that like to throw a ball and perhaps another dog. Due to his size, Crockett would not be a good fit for a home with children. Please note that Crockett will need regular grooming. This dog is being cared for by: National Greyhound Adoption Program 10901 Dutton Road Philadelphia, PA 19154 PA Kennel License #3069. Our adoption areas include PA, NJ, NY, CT, DE, MD, DC and NoVA.
