This is Crockett, a stunning wolfhound(?)/schnauzer(?)/doodle(?)/labrador(?) mix, who was surrendered to us because city life was too exciting for him. Crockett is a big, strong boy, at almost 100lbs. He has a medium energy level and has been completely appropriate with every dog we've ever introduced him to. He is comical, eager to please, smart, affectionate.....and sometimes a bit stubborn! He is very chill and is not the kind of dog that is up in your face all the time.Crockett would do best in a suburban or rural area, with dog savvy adult owners that like to throw a ball and perhaps another dog. Due to his size, Crockett would not be a good fit for a home with children. Please note that Crockett will need regular grooming. He grew up with his litter mate brother which is the reason we need to give him up. It breaks our heart but we know he would be so much happier in a single dog home, preferably without children, as he is not much of a cuddler. He needs structure and lots of play time.

Available for adoption!    Neptune (his foster family loving calls him Winston)  is a 3-year-old, 50-pound Lab mix with a gentle heart and a love for the outdoors. When he first arrived after being found as a stray, he was understandably a little unsure of his new surroundings. With a little time his sweet personality quickly began to shine through. After just a few days out of the shelter, Neptune started seeking out affection and becoming a fun, happy and playful guy.    This handsome boy enjoys the simple things in life—fresh air, exploring outside, and going for walks: he walks beautifully on a leash! He also gets along very well with other dogs. He has been a gentleman in the house and has been great being gated into a room when his foster family isn't home.    Neptune is a sweet, gentle soul who just needed a little time to feel safe.   Pringle's foster calls him "literally perfect" and he is so long overdue for finding a loving family! This boy is special! Pringle is a very handsome gentleman and is about 2 years old and 60 lbs.    Pringle has been an excellent house guest in his foster home. He crates easily and goes right to sleep, but has also been trustworthy in the house. He hasn't had any accidents at all. He walks ok on a leash and just needs a little more work here, but he’s very trainable. This smart guy already knows sit and has been very polite in never jumping on people. He loves to explore the back yard and loves car rides. He was excellent at our recent Meet&Greet  event with all of the dogs, new people and commotion.   Pringle has been great with the adults and kids in his foster home. He respects personal space but loves to hang out nearby and get some pets. He is great company and will be a great match for many different families. "H" is for Happy, Hugs, and Hobo. Hobo is the happiest dog there ever was. He is estimated to be a little over 1 year old and 60 lbs.    Some of his favorite things are balls, food and giving hugs. He sleeps quietly in his crate all night and has been accident free in his foster home so far.    Hobo spent a lot of his puppy hood in the shelter, so he missed out on some basic manners. He will need some continued training, especially with jumping and mouthing . Hobo seems to be very trainable, is eager to please and works hard for his treats.   Hobo was a total gentleman at our last meet & greet and was happy to meet all kinds of new people. He absolutely adores kids, but because of his size and needed training, we would recommend he only live with kids 8 years and up. He loves dogs, but is also learning how to play appropriately with them and read their signals. He would also be fine as a solo dog.    With a some consistency and a little patience, Hobo is going to be an awesome addition to the family! This handsome fellow is sure to steal someone's heart.
