Story
Meet Biscuit! 🐾😍 If you’re looking for a dog who can turn an ordinary day into a happy one, look no further — Biscuit’s got you covered! This 3-year-old Double Doodle is a walking ray of sunshine wrapped in soft curls and pure love. Biscuit is the definition of “happy-go-lucky.” He’s always smiling, tail wagging like it’s his full-time job, and thrilled to tag along no matter what you’re doing. Need a walking buddy? He’s there. Couch-snuggle supervisor? Also there. Snack-sharing partner? Don’t even have to ask. He’s super social and adores kids — he lights up when they’re around and will happily join in on playtime. He also gets along great with other dogs and would love a furry friend to chase and romp with. Biscuit has plenty of playful energy and would thrive in a home that enjoys walks, backyard zoomies, or the occasional adventure. When playtime’s over, he’s more than happy to curl up beside you for belly rubs and head scratches, and he prefers to sleep in the bed with his people 🥰 He’s crate trained, housebroken, neutered, and up to date on all vaccinations — a total good boy through and through. Biscuit is ready to bring laughter, love, and a whole lot of tail wags to his forever family. 💛 RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England area and delivered in Pennsylvania and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. Story
This is Crockett, a stunning wolfhound(?)/schnauzer(?)/doodle(?)/labrador(?) mix, who was surrendered to us because city life was too exciting for him. Crockett is a big, strong boy, at almost 100lbs. He has a medium energy level and has been completely appropriate with every dog we've ever introduced him to. He is comical, eager to please, smart, affectionate.....and sometimes a bit stubborn! He is very chill and is not the kind of dog that is up in your face all the time.Crockett would do best in a suburban or rural area, with dog savvy adult owners that like to throw a ball and perhaps another dog. Due to his size, Crockett would not be a good fit for a home with children. Please note that Crockett will need regular grooming. This dog is being cared for by: National Greyhound Adoption Program 10901 Dutton Road Philadelphia, PA 19154 PA Kennel License #3069. Our adoption areas include PA, NJ, NY, CT, DE, MD, DC and NoVA.

Meet Michelle and Luce! 💕 These girls are in need of a loving home after their owner sadly passed away. These two pups share an unbreakable bond and 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫. At just 8 years old, they are delightful doodle mixes, each weighing 45-50 pounds. 🐾 A little about Michelle… She has a natural instinct to stay alert and keep an eye out for any potential threats, she's not overly barky; she just takes her job as your protector seriously. Although she's always on duty, she is never aggressive and also knows how to kick back and relax. Although she enjoys calm, she has shown remarkable patience around kids and has never shown any aggression towards them. Both are spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. 📍 Currently in Philadelphia, PA

Story
Meet Iggy, who is currently at our rescue in Oklahoma and looking for a loving family in a state where animals are treated well. He must be prepaid and picked up at one of the listed transport cities. Iggy and 3 other pups came into our rescue when a "breeder" called and wanted to surrender the pups and would harm them if we didn't take them. They claimed all 4 were Labradoodles, but they all look drastically different. We have received his DNA results and he is 65% Lab/Poodle, 29% Great Pyrenees, and the rest is Golden Retriever, Australian Cattle Dog, German Shepherd, and Beagle. Male, approx. 6 months old (as of October 31) Currently 35 pounds (October 31) Loves all attention with people or other dogs Loves water Genetic testing says he has a gene for reduced shedding. Story
Sugar Plum is as sweet as her name implies and she has tons of personality! Her mom is a small B&W rat terrier mix and dad is a doodle. Mom was taken in as a stray by a lady with an unaltered doodle. Before she could find a rescue to help with mom, she became pregnant. Sugar Plum is friendly, loving and smart! she is great with other dogs and people of all ages. She has not been around a cat yet but we are confident she will be fine with proper intro. Sugar is healthy, UTD on puppy shots and worming. She will be spayed and microchipped before going to her forever home. Based on puppy weight calculators we think she will be 40 to 50 lbs. If you would like to add this sweetheart to your family, please email omlc7@hotmail.com or dogs4mylife@gmail.com. If you do not see a response, please check your spam folder.

Story
Bowie is a great dog. He listens he is loyal he is fun loving and easy to take care of. He is a little over a year old now and about 40 pounds. He wont get much bigger or maybe even not bigger at all. We have an older dog / two little kids / 1 baby on the way. With our schedule between work and family it is just difficult to consistently take him out on longer walks or show him much love and we think Bowie would be better suited in a home that can show him the love and affection he deserves!

Story
Meet Papa: A super sweet boy who is so excited for life. Papa is estimated to be between 1 1/2 to 2 years old, 60lbs and a lab mix. He sports a beautiful black coat with white dipped paws and of course those eyes one full blue eye and a parti-eye.   We’re not sure if Papa has ever lived in a house before. Entryways and household appliances made him nervous at first but he has gained a lot of confidence in a short time in his foster home. Papa has had zero accidents, and sleeps quietly in his crate throughout the night.   Papa has been having fun with his canine foster sister, but they have equally rough play styles. We think Papa would be happy as a solo dog but he certainly wouldn’t turn away a playmate.    For now, while Papa is learning how to control his excitement, we would say that older kids, 8 and up and dog savvy kiddos, would be best. Papa LOVES kids very much but he expresses his love with excited mouthy behavior.   When it comes to walking on a leash, Papa does well after the first minute or two out of the gate. The excitement wears off and he’s a polite walker.    A fenced in yard is a must for this boy. The backyard is his happy place- whether it’s chasing balls or just roaming around, Papa loves the outdoors.   Update: Papa is a really good dog. He loves his people so much and cant get close enough when it's time to snuggle.  He will need training with recall and his new favorite activity- counter surfing. He continues to be accident free in the house and is great in his crate. A yard is a must for this boy.    If you are interested in this unique and fun guy please email us at almosthome4dogs@yahoo.com!  (Local adoptions preferred — Philadelphia and tri-state area [South Jersey and northern Delaware] only.) Story
Arty is looking for a foster, foster to adopt family, or adoption. Arty (or Artemis Prime as his foster family lovingly calls him) is looking for his forever family! He is a friendly and playful guy who is around 40lbs and just under 2 years old.    Arty is crate trained, house trained, and loves other dogs. A playful dog pal in his forever home would be awesome! He likes kids but is still working on his good boy manners around them.  He just gets SO excited to make new friends, how can he be expected to keep all four paws on the floor?!    Arty has energy to burn and would do well with an active family. Once he had had time to run and play he really loves snuggling up with his people.  He even likes being carried around like a prince by his foster parents.   Arty has been in a loving foster home for months waiting to meet his forever family. He’s safe and loved of course but we can’t wait to see him start a new chapter of his life adopted. If you’re interested in meeting Arty, email almosthome4dogs@yahoo.com.   (Local adoptions preferred — Philadelphia and tri-state area [South Jersey and northern Delaware] only.)
