Story
Good things don't ALWAYS come in small packages. Meet Odie, a 69 pound yellow lab/ hound mix who sports white leggings and an ever-wagging tail. Just like Garfield's doggy buddy in the comic strip, this Odie is super loveable, good natured, friendly, silly, loyal, fun-loving, and sometimes a bit goofy. At just shy of 2 years old, he is quite an athlete--is that Odie standing on top to the picnic table?? In his quieter moments, Odie is a sun-worshipper who enjoys bird and squirrel watching while relaxing outside and TRIES to be a lap dog inside. Having him close by in the yard helps his foster mom's weeding chores seem pleasant--well, almost! His foster family laughs when Odie is in the kitchen and he stares out the window--they just aren't quite sure what is grabbing his attention! Odie is house-and crate-trained, micro-chipped, neutered, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations. He gets along with all the other dogs who live with his foster family--especially the other foster dog Danny who is a favorite playmate. Odie's bags are packed (yep--with an Eagles logo) and he is ready to settle in with a forever family who can't wait to spend fall with a new buddy.
