Story
Meet DINGO! Dingo’s favorite things are snuggling, playing fetch, and chew toys; in that order! At 2 ½ years old, 44 lbs, he has the maturity to focus and learn new things, offering just the right amount of curiosity and puppy energy. Dingo is completely crate trained, and sleeps through the night without a peep. He is patient in the morning, waiting for his turn to be let out and fed; and happily returns to the crate when directed. Dingo is social, smart, energetic, sweet, and easily redirected. He has his high energy moments, but settles back down easily, and can even be, at times, quite the couch potato. He adjusts to new routines quickly and will be an easy dog to train. Dingo is almost fully house trained as long as he has enough time outside. He is well behaved on a leash, and even off the leash, he is responsive and comes when called. Even so, we are not completely sure if he knows his name; so if his family chooses to give him a new one, he will adjust easily. Dingo loves everyone and everything, and is just the happiest, most adaptable dog. He LOVES all toys, especially antlers, Nyla bones, and his Kong knot teddy. Although he likes to collect them in his crate throughout the day, he is not overly protective of them and enjoys sharing. He is still getting to know cats, and will occasionally toss a toy to them, but then backs off when they don’t reciprocate. Beyond cats, he loves kids and gets along and is respectful of other dogs. He would benefit from playmates who match his energy, though. It is hard to spend time with Dingo and NOT fall in love with him. (Local adoptions preferred — Philadelphia and tri-state area [South Jersey and northern Delaware] only.) PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING US! We are NOT a shelter: All of our dogs live in private homes with foster families. We cannot adopt to homes where electric-shock fencing systems or training collars are used.
