Story
Meet Mello – Delightfully One of a Kind Mello is the kind of dog who makes you do a double take—in the best possible way. With his short legs, slightly wiry coat, and unmistakable charm, he’s living proof that “interesting” and “absolutely adorable” go hand in hand. We’re told he’s a mini labradoodle… but honestly, Mello is just 100% Mello. At 9 years young, this guy still has plenty of pep in his step! He enjoys his walks, loves hanging out with his people, and is the kind of companion who truly values connection. Whether you’re heading out for a stroll or settling in for some couch time, Mello is all in—as long as he’s with you. Now, like any distinguished gentleman, Mello comes with a few quirks. He prefers that his prized possessions (think food or high-value treasures) are respected and not taken from him. With clear boundaries, respectful handling, and an experienced home, this is very manageable—and Mello will reward you with loyalty and love in return. Mello’s highlights:• 9 years young with just the right amount of pep• Affectionate and people-oriented• Enjoys walks and lounging alike• Delightfully unique in both looks and personality Mello is looking for a home that sees the beauty in being a little different—one that will appreciate his quirks, respect his boundaries, and love him for exactly who he is. He may not be your “typical” dog… but he just might be your perfect one Mostly Muttz Rescue, PO Box 406, Gilbertsville, PA 19525PA Kennel License 10872 ##2646105##

Story
Aurora and her pups were dumped to survive on their out in Puerto Rico. Luckily, volunteers with Barks of Hope dog rescued them all, brought them to a vet then placed them with a loving foster home in PR where they were well cared for. Aurora and the pups were transported to NJ and placed in a foster home in Pennington. Aurora is ready for a new adventure of being loved and cared for as a member of a loving family. She is about 1-2 years old and is a playful, sweet, and gentle girl. She is very much a puppy and needs to learn basic commands. She will make a wonderful family pet! She will not need the crazy & expensive groom of a Labradoodle and she will shed somewhat. All our dogs/pups are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They have been dewormed and are current on vaccinations. Our adoption fee includes 30 days of complimentary medical insurance for your new pet. Breed and size is frequently a guess and can not be guaranteed. Our dogs are fostered on a private residence, we do not have a free standing shelter. They live on a farm where they run and play with other dogs, cats, horses, and barnyard fowl. Initial contact with us must be made through e-mail. E-mail ARFofMercer@gmail.com directly for an adoption application or with any questions. Once your adoption application is approved, you will be invited to meet our dogs/puppies.

Story
This is Crockett, a stunning wolfhound(?)/schnauzer(?)/doodle(?)/labrador(?) mix, who was surrendered to us because city life was too exciting for him. Crockett is a big, strong boy, at almost 100lbs. He has a medium energy level and has been completely appropriate with every dog we've ever introduced him to. He is comical, eager to please, smart, affectionate.....and sometimes a bit stubborn! He is very chill and is not the kind of dog that is up in your face all the time.Crockett would do best in a suburban or rural area, with dog savvy adult owners that like to throw a ball and perhaps another dog. Due to his size, Crockett would not be a good fit for a home with children. Please note that Crockett will need regular grooming. This dog is being cared for by: National Greyhound Adoption Program 10901 Dutton Road Philadelphia, PA 19154 PA Kennel License #3069. Our adoption areas include PA, NJ, NY, CT, DE, MD, DC and NoVA.

Story
Meet sweet Alex. This 8-year-old Yellow Labrador Retriever weighs 44 pounds and is looking for a very special hospice foster home where she can be loved and kept comfortable for whatever time she has left. Alex has elevated kidney values and a large tumor, but she is too medically fragile to undergo surgery. At this stage, our goal is not heroic interventions or invasive procedures—it's providing comfort, dignity, and plenty of love. Alex is the kind of dog who makes hospice fostering feel incredibly meaningful. She is a top-notch cuddler, 100% housetrained, and happiest when enjoying the simple things in life: a short walk around the block, a cozy nap, and time spent with her people. She doesn't ask for much beyond a soft bed—sometimes she even prefers curling up in a small one—and a family willing to open their hearts to her. She does well with calm dogs and gentle children and would thrive in a peaceful home where she can relax and enjoy life's comforts. Apply at lvpeaceablekingdom.info.
