Story
Meet Gus Gus is a very outgoing, happy-go-lucky boy who truly loves everyone and everything he meets. His journey started when he was found laying on the side of the road for three days, and thanks to a kind woman who kept him safe until Greenmore could take him in, Gus got his second chance—and he’s making the most of it. According to his finder, “he loves to snuggle on the couch, is great in the car, and is very lovable,” and that perfectly sums him up. Gus is affectionate, social, and always ready to be part of whatever you’re doing. He has medium to high energy, absolutely loves walks, and will thrive in an active home. Because of his size and strong nature, older kids are preferred, and he’s still working on his manners, so continued training will help him shine. A fenced yard is required so he has space to safely burn off energy. Gus keeps his crate clean and is eager to learn, bond, and be someone’s loyal best friend. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate dog with a big heart, Gus is ready to meet you. Adoption donation is $450 cash, $475 credit, debit or Venmo. This donation includes a microchip. ***A NOTE ON BREEDS: The dog's listed breed(s) is the best assessment made by a veterinarian, pet finder or rescue staff and is not guaranteed. Story
This is Crockett, a stunning wolfhound(?)/schnauzer(?)/doodle(?)/labrador(?) mix, who was surrendered to us because city life was too exciting for him. Crockett is a big, strong boy, at almost 100lbs. He has a medium energy level and has been completely appropriate with every dog we've ever introduced him to. He is comical, eager to please, smart, affectionate.....and sometimes a bit stubborn! He is very chill and is not the kind of dog that is up in your face all the time.Crockett would do best in a suburban or rural area, with dog savvy adult owners that like to throw a ball and perhaps another dog. Due to his size, Crockett would not be a good fit for a home with children. Please note that Crockett will need regular grooming. This dog is being cared for by: National Greyhound Adoption Program 10901 Dutton Road Philadelphia, PA 19154 PA Kennel License #3069. Our adoption areas include PA, NJ, NY, CT, DE, MD, DC and NoVA.

KENNEL ID #18804 Meet Pistol, a Golden Retriever and German Shorthair Pointer mix. He will turn 4 years old on April 9th. Pistol is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. He weighs about 80 pounds and believes he’s a lap dog!  Pistol is housebroken and crate-trained. He gets along well with cats and most other dogs, making him a great companion. As a vigilant watchdog, he has lots of energy and loves to play and run around. His favorite toy is a squeaky chicken, and he enjoys playing fetch. When he’s not active, he loves to relax and receive belly rubs. Although Pistol was raised around children, he has recently become uncomfortable in their presence, and his warning growls can be intimidating for kids. Therefore, his owners are looking for a home without children. Meet Aster and Lily! We don’t have much of a back story on these two but what we do know is how lovable and snuggly they are! Mom was a Rottweiler mix and dad is unknown. Momma was pregnant and ended up at the shelter down in Athens Texas and gave birth to these perfect pups. They are up to date on vaccines for their age, microchipped and current on flea tick and heartworm prevention.
