Duck is a great dog. It’s hard letting him go. I just don’t have the active lifestyle that he needs. Ever since my other dog died he all of a sudden has become bad with the kids. Never bitten. He growls at them when they walk into a room. Then the next minute he is climbing all over them. He would do well in a single dog home. With someone who can give him the attention he deserves.

This is Ginger, not only is she a beautiful girl, but she is super sweet and very good natured…more on the easy going submissive side. She seems to love everyone that she meets, and she really enjoys any attention that they wish to lavish her with. Still being a youngster, she has a lot of puppy play in her but she is not hyper, making her all that much fun to be around. She is used to being around quite a few dogs and she came with three siblings, so she gets along well with other dogs and she always has a big time playing with them in the play yard. My wish for Ginger is to be adopted by a fun and active family that will include her in their everyday comings and goings. Ginger’s Mom is a black Labradoodle but Dad was a traveling man. Ginger is 6 ½ months old (dob 2/22/26) and weighs 36 pounds. She has been spayed, microchipped, 4DX heartworm tested, fecal tested, current on all vaccinations, worming and is on heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400. Ginger is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the New England area most weeks and her fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.

Back in December 2024, Big Family Rescue got an urgent call about a litter of puppies four hours north of us. They were only six weeks old, and their condition was heartbreaking. Overrun with worms and coccidia, the pups were so sick they were barely hanging on. We dropped everything, made the late-night drive, and brought them home. At first, it wasn’t clear if they would survive. They were frail, lethargic, and malnourished. But with intensive care, medicine, and round-the-clock attention, the puppies slowly began to fight their way back. One of those survivors is Woody. Now nine months old, Woody has blossomed into a goofy, energetic, and affectionate boy. A unique Hound/Labradoodle mix, he’s healthy, strong, and full of life. Where once there was fear and fragility, now there’s joy and playfulness. Woody loves to run, explore, and clown around — his zest for life is contagious. Every wag of his tail is a reminder of just how far he’s come. From near-death at six weeks to a thriving young pup today, Woody embodies the heart of rescue: hope, healing, and second chances.

BOHDIE IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO PA ONCE HE IS ADOPTED!    This adorable guy is Bohdie! He is an 2 year old lab mix. He weighs about 80lbs. Check out his amazing eyes! This boy is as sweet as he is handsome. He loves people and cuddling. He enjoys running and playing in the yard with his toys. He is smart as well! He is kennel, leash, and house trained. Bohdie has been good with cats, but he has been dog selective in his foster home. He would enjoy an active home with lots of adventures. He is fully vetted including neuter, microchip, all shots including his rabies shot. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to PA. Meet Blitzen! Blitzen is a handsome Lab mix , who was born in July. He weighs about 45 lbs. With his adorable freckles and soulful eyes, he’s sure to steal your heart. Like his brother Rudy, he appears to be a smallish Lab mix with a little hound and possibly cattle dog in the mix. Blitzen has a sweet, submissive personality and loves being close to his people. He’s the perfect cuddle buddy and enjoys relaxing just as much as he enjoys playtime. He gets along well with other dogs and absolutely loves wrestling and playing with his brother, Rudy. Blitzen is also a very well-mannered young pup. He sleeps quietly through the night in his crate, walks nicely on a leash, and does great during bath time. He’s also doing well with house training and continues to learn more every day.
