Story
Meet Mandy. She came to us as a local surrender. Mandy was used to living outside on a farm. She was born in the spring of 2000 so she is about 4 years old. Mandy is a mini Labradoodle and she weighs about 51 lbs. Mandy is working on housebreaking and will hold it in a crate. She does need to go outside on a leash even in a fenced in yard as she has been an escape artist in fences. Mandy is a super smart girl that loves adventure and also to cuddle. She gets along well with other dogs and seems to do well around cats too. Mandy is now spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped and tested negative for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $350.00. Story
Little Princess was with a commercial breeder that decided to quit. They were headed to a breeders auction when we arranged to get a mom and a couple of pups. Mom is a pure bred Labrador and day is purebred poodle. Princess was born 12/19/23 and she is a very sweet and social pup. she has the hair coat so she will shed some and is not hypoallergenic but she is MUCH easier to maintain! This sweet girl will be spayed shorty and will be ready for her new home as a family member instead of a breeding commodity! If you would like to add this sweet girl to your forever family please email omlc7@hotmail.com or dogs4mylife@gmail,com and we will send our info and application. More pictures coming soon!

Story
Trisha is the sweetest girl who is an 8y (9 in June) old yellow lab from the Amish. She absolutely loves to be pet and be near people, she's crate trained and potty trained for the most part, she hasn't had any accidents in the crate but drinks alot so she has to pee frequently when she's not crated. She has no idea what toys are unfortunately so someone who will just enjoy her company or take her for walks would be her style. She needs some leash manners as she spent her life in a kennel and isn't too familiar with being on one but has been great on the long lead in the yard, she doesn't push boundaries. She is really just a sweet girl who wants her own person to give all her love to. Trisha has showed she would prefer to be the only dog in the house but does get along with her foster homes dogs. Personality Overload Special Needs alert Binks has been a huge hit with everyone he has met. We can't believe he still hasn't found his people. Please check out his bio below and apply today. If he's not the right fit for you, please share his story! You never know who might be searching for this little guy Binks is a social little guy who has never met a stranger cuz everyone he meets is instantly his best friend. This little 10 pound guy will steal your heart the moment you lay eyes on him and you will fall madly in love after you hear his story! Binks was surrendered to Zoe's House due to uncontrollable seizures. His previous owners had a very active household and they were unable to provide Binks with the quiet, calm household he needed to live his best life. You see, Binks was born deaf. He cannot rely on his hearing to know what is going on around him and the high activity levels in his previous home were just too much for him to handle. Binks is currently on a low dose of meds for his seizures and they are now much better controlled . He will probably need to continue these meds (about $10 a month) for the rest of his life. Binks is currently in foster care with other dogs of all sizes as well as cats. He loves the other dogs and cats in his foster home and enjoys hanging out with them. He would do well in a home with other pets but he would also be perfectly content as the only "Apple of your eye A low activity home with no children is required for Binks. Visitors are fine, he actually loves kids but the constant commotion of an active young family will be too much for him to handle. Binks is neutered and UTD on vacines, dewormed, and microchipped. He is housebroken when taken out regularly, although regression is common in a new environment. He does not like his crate, at all... he actually HATES it and his protest bark is really loud! So a home where someone is around often would be ideal for him. He just wants to spend his days snuggled next to you on the couch or in bed with you at night. Story
Hi there! I am Nico your happy go lucky Labrador puppy. I came to Zoe's House after some changes in my family. I am on the smaller size but have typical Labrador energy. I settle down after running around and then I just want to hang with any human or dog. I love toys but stuffy toys will be chewed up if no one is watching. Otherwise I very much like a bone or hard chew toy. My foster mom gives them to me in my kennel to help pass the time. I love just leaning on my human and K9 friends. My foster mom gives me puzzle toys. Those are the best. I am so smart I do them very quickly. I am working on patience, and learning to use my manners. My foster mom makes me sit and wait before getting my food and when I come out of my kennel. I eat my food really fast so I need to be fed with a slow feeder bowl. I am a Labrador so food and toys are very motivating to me. Good thing I do not chew on blankets so I can have something soft to lay on in my kennel. Being outside is a favorite of mine but I do pick up sticks and a few rocks. I would really love a forever home that will continue to help me learn to be a good boy. My best friend is the goldendoodle in my foster home. He is big and we play rough. I do have a few smaller 4-legged friends in my foster home but I am a little rough with them and would probably do best with friends my size or a little bigger. Since I am still young and learning I would do best with 2 legged friends that were 6 and over. My foster mom is teaching me to sit and be calm but I just get so excited I might knock down a little one. Leash manners are a work in progress. I promise to be a good boy and keep trying! My foster mom is able to bath me, brush me, and look in my ears and eyes. Potty training is going well but remember accidents are common in transition. Overall I am just a young boy that wants to keep learning how to be a good dog! Will you be my forever friend to help me do that! Nico is up to date on vaccines, neutered, on monthly preventatives and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Nico please apply at www.zoeshouserescue.com Any potential adopter will need to be willing to travel to York, PA with all family members and current dogs. Remember processing applications can take several weeks. Kennel License 9117 PO Box 2372 Reading, PA 19608
