At 18 months old and 65 pounds, Bindi is right in that fun young-adult stage where she’s learned the basics but still has plenty of playful, goofy doodle enthusiasm to keep life interesting. This girl absolutely loves her people. Like… really loves them. Think “personal fan club president” level devotion. She bonds closely with her humans and wants to be right there with you for all of life’s activities — whether that’s heading out for a walk, running errands, or supervising snack preparation in the kitchen. Because Bindi loves her humans so much, she’d do best as the one-and-only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention without having to share her VIP people. And speaking of activity… Bindi is not applying for the job of Professional Couch Potato. She’s looking for a young, active family that enjoys staying busy and getting out into the world. Story
Moose is estimated to be anywhere between 16-18 weeks of age. He currently weighs 27 pounds and he has some big paws on him! Moose was born on the streets of San Antonio. Unfortunately, he was picked up by the wrong person. The beginning of his life was a cage. He was met with aggression and frustration for being a puppy. Moose entered the rescue world on 03.07.26. He has shown no signs of aggression, just a desperate plea for love and affection. He is a healthy and playful boy that would do amazingly in any home environment. Meet Chavi the tripod! Chavi is a year old border collie/lab mix. She was a street rescue that had a healed broken front leg, heart worms AND a litter of 8 newborn puppies. Chavi was very shy when she first arrived. It took weeks for her to trust anyone. During this time Chavi was never aggressive, just very scared. Though her background story is unknown, we believe that she had grown up on the streets. At some point she was hit by a car and broke one of her front legs. It healed improperly resulting in a removal for her own well being. After some testing we were unfortunately met with the news that Chavi was heart-worm positive. However, thanks to generous donations and team efforts, she has undergone heart worm treatment and is now HEART WORM NEGATIVE! Since being with us she has blossomed. Chavi is brave, friendly, and so kind. She is leash trained, potty trained, knows basic commands, and does great in any environment. Truthfully, she would thrive in a home with other dogs.
