Meet Otis, one of our favorite long-legged Labrador mixes, who clearly missed the memo on how big he actually is. He originally arrived in our care when his previous owners realized they couldn't keep up with three fast-growing pups. Otis is still waiting for his forever home—and honestly, we have no idea why. He absolutely steels the show with his calm, loving demeanor and endless affection. He is the ultimate, certified love bug who is always ready to soak up all the scratches and pets you are willing to give.
Don't let his stately Labrador frame fool you, because Otis has a major "tiny dog" complex. In his mind, he is no bigger than a toy poodle, and he fully intends to crawl into your lap, settle in for cozy snuggle sessions, and pretend he fits perfectly. He is also a total social butterfly and a man on a mission when he is out and about. At our recent events, Otis doesn’t want to stop walking or lie down to rest for even a second; he is far too busy scanning the crowd for new friends, staying on his feet with his tail wagging, and eagerly greeting every single person and dog that passes by.

He absolutely loves his walks and struts down the sidewalk with the biggest, goofiest smile on his face.
