Story
Meet Bear, a 5-year-old Black Lab with a gentle heart and a loyal soul. Bear is a friendly boy who gets along well with other dogs and even cats. He`s spent most of his life in a quiet home alongside his best friend, Angel, and because of that he`s a little more reserved when it comes to new experiences. While he may take some time to adjust to unfamiliar situations, his sweet nature shines through once he feels safe and comfortable.Bear`s story is one of incredible devotion. After his beloved owner passed away, Bear stayed faithfully by her side for hours, a testament to the deep bonds he forms with the people he loves. He has spent his entire life surrounded by familiar faces and routines, so he`s looking for a patient family that can help him build confidence as he explores the world beyond what he`s always known. This handsome boy doesn`t ask for much—just kindness, understanding, and a place to belong. With a little time and reassurance, Bear will reward his new family with unwavering loyalty, companionship, and all the love a Lab can give. If you`re looking for a sweet dog who will truly become your best friend, Bear might be the perfect match. The dog adoption fee is $110. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online.  If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510.  This is especially important if you are viewing this animal on any site other than Animal Services` website.
