Story
Ollie was bought from a breeder. Our children have moved out and he is active but we are working long days. He is very happy and loving. He is house trained - we have a dog door and he will take himself out. He loves kids and there are many that come and go. He does get excited when people come over and loves attention. He likes to swim, he is a good retriever, comes when you call his name. Ollie is a good communicator. He lets us know when he need water by going near the water and looking at us and then the water and again.

Medical History * Neuter Status: Completed * Microchip: Registered (Internal chip completed) * Other Notes: Heartworm negative 2. Rescue Story Nedal was staying at the Suwon Shelter. For nearly a year in shelter care, no adopters stepped forward to offer him a forever home, and he was ultimately placed on the euthanasia list. Unable to let him die, ADOGS stepped in urgently to rescue him. 3. Personality & Characteristics * Interaction with Humans: He is a super affectionate lovebug who truly adores humans! He happily approaches even strangers with a wagging tail, showing sweet charm and welcoming physical touch without hesitation. However, if you try to pick him up or grab around his neck, he may drop to the floor and lie on his back. Around familiar faces, he hops up and down in excitement to greet them and loves being showered with affection. He prefers human companionship over being alone and may bark out of sadness when you walk away. * Interaction with Dogs: He coexists well with other dogs overall. If another dog approaches him enthusiastically to play, he gets startled initially, though he quickly joins in the fun. He prefers initiating interactions with dogs he is curious about rather than having dogs approach him first. He may show territory-checking barks toward new dog friends, and if another dog barks at him, he gets startled and barks back in defensive frustration. * Interaction with Cats: He has not yet been introduced to cats. * Separation Anxiety: Because he loves people so much, he spends his alone time waiting longingly for humans to return. Structured independence training will be necessary from day one in a home environment. * Potty Training: He currently handles his business strictly outdoors at the shelter. A new routine and retraining may be needed upon moving into a home. * Grooming & Hygiene: He accepts brushing very well. * Leash Walking: He has no aversion to putting on a collar or leash. He tends to pull a bit at the beginning of walks, but after walking for a short while, he frequently looks back to check on his handler. * Motion Sickness: He showed no signs of car sickness even during long trips lasting around 2 hours. * Biting/Defensive Reactions: During a tense first encounter with another dog where they were sizing each other up, he once moved in to nip at the other dog's hindquarters. He may also growl back if another dog barks at him. * Barking: He displays demand barking. He barks when people walk past his kennel to ask to be let out, or whines when he wants attention. He can also react vocally during high-excitement moments, such as exiting his kennel after meals or when someone enters the play yard. He has also shown howling behavior when left alone. * Likes: He adores humans! He is very food-motivated and loves his meals and treats, and he enjoys playing with compatible dog friends. * Dislikes: He feels overwhelmed by dogs that approach too intensely. He can feel uncomfortable with being held or lifted, gets frightened by sudden loud noises, and strongly dislikes being left alone. * Personality: Nedal is an affectionate, friendly, and bubbly boy. He loves humans deeply and expresses his love enthusiastically. With high energy levels, he bounces around playfully and adapts very quickly to new environments.

Story
We are too busy to care for her, the kids have left and we travel . She is a good dog, but has that labradoodle behavior - kinda listens, like maybe she will sit when asked. She is house trained, does not damage furniture. I recently had some benign growths removed from her . She is in pretty good shape overall for an older dog . She is 10 .8 years old.

Story
Prieta is one of the SWEETEST dogs! cat and dog tested. In foster in Tumwater, WA She is a tri-pod (had to have her back leg amputated) but that doesn't stop her from leading a very full life. . https://youtube.com/shorts/ftNP9gkkcX0?feature=share She doesn't run tons but she can and it has only been two months since her amputation! https://youtube.com/shorts/yw6RiGnD_DE?feature=share She came off transport, passed a family with several young children including a toddler and just had to say hello and give them kisses! Smallish size, 38 lbs at 10 months of age so nearly full grown. We can't say her breeds but she is most certainly a black mixed mutt! lol She is super social and super friendly with everyone, children, adults dogs you name it. She loves to be with her people or another dog, but is very human centered. We truly believe, but of course we can never sweat, but with time and proper training, we think she would be able to be trained to be off leash (in safe situations) as she does thus far has shown she does not wish to be far away from you. We are working on leash training, she doesn't pull really, but since her amputation was only 6/23 she hasn't YET built up all her muscles but is doing phenomenal. She is still puppy ish and might chew something if you dont watch but amazingly she has not chewed up her bed/blankets. She really seems to love her deer/elk horns and /or yak chew. We work with an amazing volunteer at that shelter who sends up the BEST dogs. You can see some of them and/or reviews on our fb page Shayne's Fosters and/or the reviews on "Saving Kurth Memorial Shelter Pets' fb page. We believe 100% house trained but on occasion we could be incorrect, so please understand about that but she has never had any accidents since being in foster in WA. Yes we have amazing professional dog rescue transporters who bring them in climate controlled vans all over the 48 states, and yes, of course including WA state. to apply to adopt please apply using this link : https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application/ shaynesrescue.com Many Texas dogs are hit by vehicles and do not survive.:( She was one of the lucky onesm we paid for her amputation and she is doing well. This is literally the third dog, and all three were black and lab type mixes that we have received from Kurth Memorial Shelter in 2026. We reimburse the shelter volunteers for ALL medical expenses and we pay for transport, insuring all the dogs we adopt, do not require funds from them, so the little amount of funds they can generate go to save other dogs in need. How do we do it? Our founder personally pays for everything.

Story
Todd is great with people, dogs and cats! super sweet, just needs some training as he is still a puppy! https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ That is the link to apply to adopt. He is available to pre adopt, but will be arriving in the next couple of weeks to foster in Tumwater, WA Todd is fun, loving and happy- Go- lucky very sweet dog He’s quiet in his crate, until he sees you then he wants out. Relatively leash trained- pulls some Treat motivated Plays very well with other dogs Doesn’t go after cats. Smart. Will drag stuff into his kennel from nearby it is very cute~! Does okay with rope toys Likes to sniff around cuddle bug for sure He sleeps overnight in the crate, although could easily be transitioned to somewhere else in the house Seems to be House trained… Until he is fully trained, we could recommend crating when he has to be separated from you. He is used to a crate.
