Story
Piper is a sweet, high energy labradoodle. We acquired her from a reputable Spokane-based breeder back in early 2019 and she'll turn five in November. She's great with kids and has been around babies and toddlers. Piper weighs just under 90lbs (a bit overweight) and is very food-motivated. She is a fun loving dog and craves attention. Due to changing circumstances we're sadly not able to provide her with the attention and care she deserves anymore so we're looking for a loving family to adopt her.

Story
Looking for a good home for Teddy. He is a little over 2 years old. I adopted him when I was not working and have since taken on a new job that requires me to work 6-7 days a week sometimes. Teddy does great with my 5 and 6 year old. He has a dog sibling (Min pin) but she is old and small so he mainly just leaves her alone. He doesn't chew things up, is house trained, crate trained, loves car ride and walks. But he is just isn't getting the attention he needs. He is not neutered, but I can do before adopting him out. He doesn't do well at dog parks as he is protective so if dogs rush up on him he growls and I have never let it get any further and just avoid them as I don't know if he would ever bite out of defense mode. He still could use training on the leash as he is strong and still pulls. He still has so much life to live and deserves more attention then I can give. He has never been around cats so not sure what he would do.

He is very lovable and intelligent. Micah needs a loving family who has the time for him. His birthday is Oct 14,2022. I adopted him from a breeder in Ohio. Story
Sammy is the sweetest dog ever. He is 8.5 years old and has been with me since he was 15 weeks. He is always looking for attention and snacks! All he needs is a walkie or two a day and then he will find a cozy place to nap by your side. Sammy knows lots of tricks and is easily motivated by treats. He also enjoys car rides and will quietly sit in his seat. Sammy has been around cats, dogs, and chickens. He thinks he is the best bunny tracker around, but if he catches anything he just likes to stand on it and smell it until you tell him to let it go! He walks very nice on a leash with some reminders to keep it loose, and will smell every tree and bush on your route. Unfortunately, since the pandemic, Sammy has not experienced being alone and needs some help learning how to manage his separation anxiety.

Bella and Minnie are two non-related sisters who have been surrendered by their owners due to personal reason. Bella is 8 year old basenji, while Minnie is a 7 year old lab mix. They are both about 55 lb, current on his shots, kept on heartworm and flea preventative, and are spayed and microchipped. Bella is an absolute sweetheart with a zest for life. Here's what makes Bella the perfect addition to any active and loving family: 1. Adventure Enthusiast: If you're a fan of outdoor activities and adventures, Bella is the perfect sidekick. She absolutely loves going on walks, hikes, and exploring new places. Her boundless energy will keep you motivated to stay active. 2. Treat Lover: Bella has a sweet tooth for treats! Whether it's for training, rewards, or just because, she will happily sit, stay, and give you those heartwarming puppy eyes in exchange for a tasty treat. She knows commands such as sit, down, outside, crate, and stay. 3. Kissing Machine: Get ready for an abundance of love and affection! Bella is a certified kissing expert. She will shower you with kisses and snuggles, making every day a little brighter. 4. Loving and Loyal: Bella is not just a companion; she is a family member. She is loyal, protective, and incredibly loving. She has a heart of gold. Minnie is a black lab mix with a heart as big as her adorable wagging tail. Here are some of the wonderful qualities that make her the perfect addition to any loving home: 1. Affectionate and Friendly: Minnie is a social butterfly who adores being around people. She thrives on human interaction, and her tail never stops wagging when she receives pets and attention. 2. Walk Enthusiast: If you love to go on walks, Minnie is the ideal companion. She eagerly embraces the opportunity to explore the great outdoors with her leash on. 3. Well-Trained: Minnie is not only potty trained but also crate trained, making her a well-behaved and low-maintenance companion. She understands basic commands like sit, down, shake, crate, outside, and stay and is eager to learn more. 4. Loving and Gentle: Minnie is gentle and kind, making her a perfect fit for families, couples, or individuals looking for a loyal and affectionate friend. Both pups are delightful and well-trained family pets who are a regular at their daycares, where they enjoy playing with pups of all sizes. They are being fostered in Texas, but can travel to any state, and even Canada for the right home. Story
*Currently fostered in Houston Texas but is available for adoption via rescue transport program. Virtual meet and greet offered prior to adoption and transport fee included in adoption fee* Meet Lexington, or Lex, or Lexi Lex, as we like to call him! This happy go lucky kid is just what he looks like, a giant, happy, friendly, playful Labrador mix. Except, he's as big as a mastiff! Lexington was found as a puppy by a couple who owns property and rescues all forms of animals here in Conroe. Originally they intend to keep Lex as their own, as he is easy and gets along with everyone on the farm (Except the cats and chickens). However, their situations have changed due to family health concerns and now they want Lex to find a new home for his benefit. Lexington truly adores all he meets. People and dogs, large or small, he loves everyone and always wants to be their friend and play. He is called the puppymaster by our group because he always fathers the foster puppies, and tolerates all their ridiculous puppy play and antics. He has never shown an aggressive side to anything or anyone, besides the occasional bark of distaste should someone truly get on his nerves. Lex loves to run and play and explore with his friends and the puppies on a regular basis. He is exceptional when it comes to sharing, playtime, and anything else that comes his way. Lexington is extremely well behaved and training is a breeze with him. He is leash trained, housebroken, crate trained, knows all his basics and will learn anything you have to teach him. He thrives on all forms of reward including toys, treats and affection, making it simple to find what he likes when you want him to learn the ropes! He's the kind of pup you can take almost anywhere! Lex is fully vetted meaning he is vaccinated, neutered, up to date on monthly preventions, heartworm negative and microchipped. Story
Meet sweet Jake. This guy was found wandering the streets in Texas after being injured with a machete. He is definitely a people person who loves to cuddle and follow his people around. His foster mom took him on many adventures exploring the trails and woods of Austin, Texas. He walks well on a leash but does tend to get a little excited when spotting other dogs that might want to play. He would do best in a home without cats because most cats really don't want to play with him!. He is a gentle boy with a medium energy level and would do best with older children. He is crate trained. He would love to find a family to call his own. If you think Jake would be a great fit for your family and lifestyle please complete our adoption application. He is packed and ready to travel! Jake is located in Houston, Texas. houstonk911rescue.org
