Dog's Name: Pup Stewart (STE0524MCTMD)Estimated Breed: Labradoodle mixApproximate Age: 4 months Approximate Weight: 25 LBS Currently Living at: Foster Adoption Fee: $500DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Pup Stewart! Stewart came to us from an overcrowded shelter in Tennessee. He has landed a nice foster home while searching for his forever home. Could that be with you? Stewart can be a tad shy when he first meets you but will soon be your best friend. He is friendly and loves other dogs. Stewart also does well with cats. At his young age, he is in his prime for training and socialization. Stewart will grow to be a wonderful companion for many years to come. Please remember that young pups require a lot of time, love, and patience to become the best doggie citizens they can be. Adopting Stewart means welcoming joy, love, and endless tail wags into your home. His sweet and playful nature will fill your life with laughter and happiness. Submit an application today and change Stewart's life forever! ‍
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
