Story
Colocho! It means “curly” in Spanish. A 2.5 year old Laradoodle with a heart of gold, very smart and supremely happy, Colocho has a lot of energy and love to give. He would make an EXCELLENT family dog, and loves kids. He is reactive to other dogs outside his “territory”, but otherwise gets along well with dogs no problem. We went to Petco and he was great. He is good with cats too.Colocho has had a bit of a rough start in life. We are not sure, but we think he came from a BYB situation. He was very skinny initially, but has put on some weight thanks to the hard work of his current owner, who sadly can no longer take care of him. Colocho is a typical smart and playful Labradoodle; he has taken well to obedience training and is working on progress with his crate. He needs a neuter (which will be sponsored), but otherwise he’s pretty much set with all “the basics”!

Copper is a loving, intelligent 5-year-old Labradoodle who weighs about 27 lbs. He is a true “Velcro dog” who loves cuddling, walks, fetch, watching TV and sleeping near his humans. He is housebroken, walks nicely on a leash, knows several commands and even rings bells when he needs to go outside. He is clean, professionally groomed and sheds very little.Copper does have anxiety and needs a patient home where someone is around frequently and wants a close companion. He does not do well in a closed crate and can get into food, trash or household items when anxious or unsupervised. His anxiety coat helps him relax.Copper has never bitten anyone, but can become growly around small children or other dogs when uncomfortable, so an adult home or one with older, dog-savvy children and no other pets is preferred. For the right person with time, patience and love, Copper will make a wonderful, devoted companion.

Story
  Delilah was another Walmart Special that started as a giveaway puppy from the back end of a pick up truck.  She was taken home as a young 8 week old puppy and 8 months later her owner decided that she was crating her too much and had no time to give to her.  We took this pretty girl who is 50 pounds and what we determined to be a Yellow Lab and Husky mix and with a wonderfully sweet personality and calm demeanor and put her in a foster home that discovered just how perfect she was in so many ways.  Delilah adores the two young children in the foster home that are under the age of 9 years.  A boy and girl that she loves to kiss, nap with and play ball in the backyard.  She is fine with other dogs and is nice with new people she meets.  She is of course crate trained but we do not want her crated daily for a 9 hours day of an owner being gone.  Her days of that were not happy ones. She blends well with new environments and lifestyle situations that we have had her in during her foster time with us. This lovely little girl is 35 pounds is the perfect size for cuddles, adventures, and everything in between. She has a wonderful balance of being playful and laid-back, and she loves attention from people of all ages.  Lilly enjoys spending time with other dogs and is wonderful at communicating healthy boundaries. She happily coexists with canine friends and is especially good at teaching younger dogs a thing or two about personal space and polite dog manners. Despite her petite size, Lilly is convinced she's a lap dog and will even do an adorable little dance on her back feet when she's excited to see you. Lilly has a great foundation of training already in place. She knows how to sit, is eager to please, and has done very well with house training, She is potty trained and understands her routine, though she may have an occasional accident if left alone for longer than she's accustomed to. With continued consistency and structure, she will continue to thrive in her home environment. This well-rounded girl has already enjoyed car rides, brewery outings, and plenty of adventures, and she has loved every minute of it. Lilly adapts easily to new environments and takes life's experiences in stride, making her an excellent companion for a family that enjoys bringing their dog along wherever they go. Whether she's soaking up affection, making new friends, or joining in on an outing, Lilly's easygoing and affectionate nature shines through.
