Introducing Snowflake! Snowflake is a 2-year-old Labradoodle with the softest, fluffiest curls and the sweetest little teddy-bear face you’ve ever seen. His bouncy curls, soulful eyes, and permanently happy expression make him impossible to ignore—and even harder not to fall in love with. This handsome boy is the perfect mix of gentle, goofy, and playful. He absolutely loves water (the hose and bath time are his jam!), enjoys romping around with his doggy friends, and is just as happy curling up for cuddle time. Snowflake has that fun, joyful personality that keeps you smiling without being overwhelming. He’s friendly with everyone—great with kids, cats, and other dogs—and he’s doing wonderfully with house training. Snowflake is neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready to bring his curls, charm, and big heart to a forever family. Story
Hi, I’m Blaze! I’m a 1-year-old, 47-lb black and white labradoodle boy, with a big heart and an even bigger smile. I’m up to date on all my vaccines, neutered, and ready for cuddles. I’m a loveable goofball — playful, curious, and cuddly all in one! I love being in your lap and getting a good ear scratch just as much as I love a fun game of tug. I do great with dogs and cats (I might bark at cats at first — they’re so interesting! — but once they come close, I’m totally chill). I’d fit perfectly with a family that has older kids (8+ would be ideal). Another great thing about me... I’m making good progress with house training! I’m about 70% of the way there, but I still need someone who can keep up with my routine and continue my training. I’m a smart boy and learning quickly — I just need consistency and patience as I finish getting the hang of it. I’m also still working on my leash manners and can get nervous around cars or bark a little when I see other dogs on walks, but once I get a good sniff, I settle right in.   If you’re looking for a sweet, curious, and slightly silly companion with a brave heart and a healing paw, I’d love to meet you. ##2572237##

Foster Homes Needed! Do you have time and room in your life for a foster dog? http://www.muttloverescue.org/foster.html *****************   Sooney came to Mutt Love from a rural shelter.  She responds best to the name “Suki”, which was her name along the way.  She is very responsive to training sessions with treats and shows confidence.  She is extremely high energy and enjoys being engaged. She loves dogs, doesn’t turn down invitations to play and plays hard.  She is responding positively to crate training.  Sooney/Suki is an escape artist, therefore a tall, solid fence is a must for her safety.  She vocalizes for attention and is a silly, bouncy girl who is well loved by her caretakers.  She would be best matched to an experienced family.  **BECAUSE OF OUR REQUIREMENT FOR A HOME VISIT, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO ADOPT TO HOMES IN THE NORTHERN VA / MARYLAND / DC METRO AREA** We have adoption events EVERY SATURDAY from 12-3 p.m. Please note that not all dogs can attend every event, so if you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please complete a no-obligation application on our website at http://www.muttloverescue.org/application.html OR write to adopt@muttloverescue.org. Story
SNOOP: 14lbs Schnoodle ( Schnauzer/Poodle mix) Black 16 months Meet Snoop Snoop is an affectionate, playful Schnoodle with a big heart and an even bigger love for fun. He’s incredibly smart and has quickly learned his name, basic commands, and how to play fetch. Snoop adores toys, plays enthusiastically, and is respectful of the home, no unwanted chewing here! Snoop is confident, friendly, and loves being part of the action. He enjoys walks, playtime, car rides, and especially spending time with his favorite companion, Benji. Like his buddy, Snoop may bark briefly when meeting new people, but calms down quickly and warms up fast. He is fully vetted, neutered, house-trained, crate-trained, and walks nicely on a leash. At around 15 pounds, Snoop is an ideal house dog who would do well in a home with kids or with someone who is around most of the day. He has lots of youthful energy and would benefit from a fenced yard where he and Benji can run and play. Snoop is still learning about the world and would love a family who enjoys helping him build confidence and explore new experiences, especially alongside Benji. Because of their incredibly strong bond, Snoop and Benji must be adopted together.
