Story
Mendel is the best and one of the most intelligent dogs I ever met. We been together for almost five years and he is one of my best friends! Unfortunately my arthritis and recurrent fainting are making it hard to take care of him. It would be nice for him to goto a family near Rockville Maryland so I can occasionally visit and also drop of birthday treats. Thanks!

Whether she's snuggling up on the couch or having fun the yard, she brings pure joy to every moment. At her young age, Bridget is in her absolute prime for training and socialization, meaning she's ready to grow into the perfect companion. She'll thrive with a patient family, a loving couple, or a devoted individual who's ready to invest in her — and trust us, she will pay it back in tail wags and puppy kisses tenfold. Story
Palmer-Labradoodle male, ~ 6 yr. (Feb. 2026) Palmer was rescued from a high kill shelter. He was adopted, but unfortunately, the family fell onto bad times and split up. All the pets were sent back to their original rescues and Palmer was warmly welcomed back by his foster home in Bourbon County Rescue. He's accepted the changes in his life but we do want him to has his very own family again. Where he can have the security and love he so longs for. Palmer is a nice medium sized dog with a lot of personality. He's an active dog, who needs an experienced owner/family with an active lifestyle to keep him mentally and physically challenged. He's a loyal dog, bonds easily to people and is a friend to all. Palmer is about 40-45#. A home without small children and cats would be best. He may be too exuberant for them. Palmer gets along well with other dogs. His adoption fee is $300 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com Include your location and a phone number.

Story
Meet Roddy, our sweet, handsome, and energetic boy with the most innocent face. He is mix of poodle, Rottweiler, golden retriever, and Labrador, born on October 20, 2024, and weighs about 70 lbs. Roddy is neutered, healthy, house-trained, crate-trained, and full of love. When I first got Roddy, I was working from home and could walk him several times a day. Now that I am in the office full-time, he spends most of his time in his crate, and that's just not fair to him. He deserves more time, space, and attention than I can give. Roddy is incredibly smart, playful, high-energ energy and affectionate. He still thinks he is a little pup who can fit on your lap, not realizing he is almost bigger than you! He thrives in a loving, active home that can match his energy and give him the love and freedom he deserves. Roddy thrives on learning new things. He would really benefit from consistent training and a family who has the time to guide him and help him reach his full potential.
