Story
Do not miss your chance to meet Mountain. He loves the company of other dogs and scratches from his people. He does great walking on a leash in my quiet neighborhood along with sleeping through the night in his crate. He quickly is learning how to live in a home considering he probably never had that privilege. Mountain was saved from a puppy mill in Alabama along with 191 other labradoodles, some pregnant, so the number will go up. In a very short period of tme he has made great strides learning how to be a dog like playing with toys and zooming around his fenced in yard with his large resident dog  pals. It is hard to imagine that almost every experience is new to him like a dog bed, toys, riding in a car, walking on a leash, getting a treat or even some individual attention. This is why Mountain would do well with another dog to keep showing him the ropes or a family that will keep moving him forward in building his confidence with all his new experiences. He just needs a little time, alot of love and patience. Adoption Day: June 20th at PetSmart Tysons Corner from 10:00–11:00 AM, an approved adopter must be present to adopt. Some pups may stick around until 11:00 AM for the public event—check our Facebook page closer to the date to see if this pup will be attending the extra fun! ##2750269##

Story
Moonlight made a great adjustment by following the lead of our resident dog. While still on the shy side, he's learning to take treats from our hands and to enjoy all the love and pets he can get from his foster family. He loves his dog toys and will entertain you with his goofy zoomies around the yard. Moonlight is a perfect mix of a pup who will run and play outside, but will curl up at your feet for some quiet time. Moonlight sleeps through the night in his crate and doesn't mind being in the crate for short times while we're away. He has learned to walk on a leash and likes a car ride, especially if it's a trip for ice cream!    Adoption Day: July 11th at PetSmart Tysons Corner from 10:00–11:00 AM, an approved adopter must be present to adopt. Story
Meet "Mint Moth"! This boy is very sweet and has never shown any agression towards anyone. He is still a bit shy and skittish and needs someone who can be patient with him as he continues to build his confidence.  He is great with other dogs. His happiest times with us are when he has a furry visitor friend, his tail wagging and playfully hopping around! We think he would thrive with another dog in the home to be able to continute to show him the ropes and all that living in a loving home has to offer.  Due to his background history, he most likely was never in a home before now and is still learning the concept of stairs. He is also still weary of human touch and will take time to continue to show him humans are friends, not scary. Thus getting him on leash/harness takes patience and a good secure harness to make sure he doesn't slip out of it.  When he first came to us he had a few potty accidents the first few days but is now fully potty trained! He also goes voluntarily in his crate when he wants to relax during the day and sleeps in it through the night without a peep! ##2727127##

Story
Bear is a sweet, loving, happy dog with a sensitive streak. When he gets anxious, his energy spikes — almost like his excitement and worry feed off each other — but underneath it all he just wants comfort and connection. He is crate trained and sleeps in his crate every night.  He knows basic commands and others like  “crate”, “high five”, “hug”.    Bear is still learning how to be the best boy. He'll do best with a patient and knowledgeable dog owner. Bear does better in an environment where he is the only dog, or the other dog is older and wiser who respects boundaries.  He is known to be a counter surfer if you leave anything high value out, so be sure to keep those kitchen counters clean! He also can become possessive of high value items on the ground.    Bear would do best in a home with older children that can respect his boundaries and make him feel secure.  He would not do well with a home with younger children who do not understand his anxiety and nervousness.    Adoption fee includes: first 2 DAPP, bordetella, deworming, flea preventative, sterilized, heartworm test, microchip Adoption fee: $375.00   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Winnie is a fun-loving, adventurous little girl. She loves being outside and exploring. She plays endlessly with her brother, my dog and me, until she keels over for a nap. She is also a big fan of playing tug and chasing balls and she loves to curl up on my lap. She is doing really well with sleeping in the crate (sleeps for long naps and most nights all night (about 9:00 pm to 7:00). If she does wake up its for quick business outside and goes right back to sleep. House training is coming along very well too. She’ll be a wonderful addition to your family.
