Story
Hi, I'm Molly, I'm a small senior doodle. As you can see, I'm a beautiful, little girl. I'm probably some kind of doodle - maybe a labradoodle mix. I'm small - only around 30lbs so I'm mixed with something smaller than a labradoodle. I'm about 11-12 years old. Technically, I'm a senior but I act much younger and I'm very healthy. Also, I'm a great size. At around 30 pounds and low to the ground, my foster mom calls me a "low rider". I'm loving and affectionate with my people. I've had 2 homes so far and was sooooo sad to lose each one. I lived in one home for 3 years and another for about 8 years. Through no fault of my own, I was given up both times. I sleep well in my crate, and I love walks and car rides. I don't like to share with other dogs though, so I need to be the only animal in my new home. I am on special food due to having bladder stones when I was surrendered. On the new food, I have not had any further issues. I am looking for a new, patient and loving human sidekick. Reach out if that is you. I'm already vetted and spayed. I'm being fostered in Harrisonburg VA. I can be adopted to the DC metro area, the Richmond area and the Harrisonburg area. If you think you think you could give me a great home, please contact thekeneequeen@comcast.net Thanks. Molly

Story
Hello! Meet Ace 🐾 Ace was born on September 23, 2021, and is a lovable, fun-loving dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He is incredibly playful, loves spending time with his people, and always finds a way to make everyone laugh with his goofy antics and silly expressions. We are making the difficult decision to rehome Ace due to the primary owner’s ongoing health issues. Unfortunately, these circumstances make it impossible for us to provide him with the time, attention, and care that he deserves. This decision comes from a place of love, and our goal is to find him a forever home where he can continue to thrive and receive all the care and affection he deserves. If you’re looking for a dog who is affectionate, entertaining, obedient, and full of love, Ace may be the perfect addition to your family. ❤️🐶

Story
We have received a large number of applications for Ella, and are not accepting new ones as we work our way through the ones that have come in. Ella may have been born in South Carolina, but she was made for the Chesapeake. This tiny, one-year-old chocolate doodle is happiest anywhere there’s water, whether she’s paddle boarding, soaking up the sun, or taking a dip in the pool. She is an absolute dream with the sweetest, most gentle personality. Ella loves dogs, cats, kids, and every grown-up she meets. She’s fully house- and crate-trained, rides beautifully in the car, and is the kind of easygoing companion who fits right into any adventure. If you’re looking for a lovable little sidekick who will happily join you on the water and then cuddle up at home (after you’ve dried her off, of course!), Ella is ready to make every day a little brighter. 🤎 My Profile Age: 1 year old Weight: 33 pounds Good with kids: Yes Good with dogs: Yes Good with cats: Yes Fenced yard: No Suitable for townhouse and/or apartment: Yes House trained: Yes. Story
Rocco is a high energy dog that we have had since he was 8 weeks old. He is now a year old and requires a lot of love and attention. He is extremely obedient and has been easy to train so far. Due to our demanding schedules and with the addition of a new born we are unable to give him the attention he requires. He has had no issues with other dogs or children and I am sure he will be a joy to have in an active family who has the time for long walks and daily games of fetch

Story
Vadar (Male)  Meet Vadar—and despite the name, he's chosen the Light Side. This handsome brindle boy may share a name with a certain famous galactic villain, but his plans for world domination have been replaced by a much simpler goal: following his humans around and making new friends. Vadar is a sweet, gentle puppy who likes to take a minute to check things out before deciding everyone is worthy of his affection—which they usually are. Once he warms up, he's your loyal little shadow. Cooking dinner? Vadar is supervising. Folding laundry? Vadar is helping (or at least trying to). Walking from one room to another? Vadar has decided this is a group activity. Vadar gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, ferrets, and young children. He's respectful around other animals, doesn't chase, and has a calm, easygoing personality that makes him a wonderful companion. He's playful without being wild and affectionate without being demanding. If you've been searching the galaxy for a best friend, Vadar may be the companion you've been looking for. Story
Bear is a sweet, loving, happy dog with a sensitive streak. When he gets anxious, his energy spikes — almost like his excitement and worry feed off each other — but underneath it all he just wants comfort and connection. He is crate trained and sleeps in his crate every night.  He knows basic commands and others like  “crate”, “high five”, “hug”.    Bear is still learning how to be the best boy. He'll do best with a patient and knowledgeable dog owner. Bear does better in an environment where he is the only dog, or the other dog is older and wiser who respects boundaries.  He is known to be a counter surfer if you leave anything high value out, so be sure to keep those kitchen counters clean! He also can become possessive of high value items on the ground.    Bear would do best in a home with older children that can respect his boundaries and make him feel secure.  He would not do well with a home with younger children who do not understand his anxiety and nervousness.    Adoption fee includes: first 2 DAPP, bordetella, deworming, flea preventative, sterilized, heartworm test, microchip Adoption fee: $375.00   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have.
