Introducing the sleek lean (and stunning!) Jimmina. She is a one year old lab x whippet who weighs in at 31 lbs and looks like a leaner smaller version of a lab. She has a lovely temperament with joy in her stride. She is very friendly with people. She is good with other dogs and enjoys playtime with her friends, though naturally is scared of the territorial dogs outside the shelter who come out with menace. Jimmina is also good with cats. She will wow you with her speedy zoomies, only to run back to your feet for cuddles. She’d be a great adventure dog, but also very calm and quiet at home. She is smart, and eager to please. She is medium energy and a quiet girl who asks for little outside of some snuggles. Her youth and loving heart belongs with a loving family of her very own. Patricio is the absolute perfect love bug. He has a sweet gentle disposition – he is lovely with everyone he meets. He has a joyful spring in his step when he sees people, and he also happily finds joy in any toy that might come his way, finding his own happiness in the little things. He likes to gather shelter toys and put them near his bed, revelling in the joy of having anything good come his way. Patricio is about 4 years old. He is good with dogs and cats, and walks nicely on leash (including past cows, chickens, bikes and trucks). Patricio is a lovely and compact 38 lbs. His quiet happiness also means he’s not much of a barker – rather he watches the world happily waiting for his next chance at affection. He likes to crawl into your soul for cuddles. Patricio is a distemper survivor who has a slight tic in his jaw as a result. This brave boy not only survived distemper, but hasn’t let that impact his happiness. Whoever gets this little man is very lucky. Patricio is medium energy – happy to accompany you whenever and wherever. They suspect she may have been used for breeding and was subjected to having her tail docked. When they no longer wanted her they just left her to fend for herself. Yesenia reads people well and likes to be comforted by them. Yesenia prefers male dogs and isn’t a fan of cats. She is spayed and vaccinated, weighing a perfect 45 lbs.
