Story
Meet Willa!Willa is a 4-year-old spayed female All-American dog who has already proven how resilient she is. She lost a leg after being hit by a car, and while she has a few superficial scars that give her a slightly tougher appearance, her personality is anything but tough.Willa is a wonderfully kind and easygoing dog who enjoys the company of other dogs - as long as they play fair and don’t take advantage of her limitations. She loves to chase and wrestle with dog friends and keeps up surprisingly well on three legs!In her kennel she is calm, relaxed, and respectful, and she is likely house trained, as she very rarely makes a mess in her space. She’s the kind of dog who just quietly waits for someone to notice what a good girl she is. Willa has special needs - she is heartworm positive. Dogs with heartworm disease can live happy, high-quality lives with proper care. Heartworm positive dogs have just as much love and companionship to offer as any other dog and deserve a chance at a forever home! By adopting Willa, you are truly saving a life.Ask staff about the Stormie Rain Heartworm Fund and what assistance may be available to help with her heartworm treatment.ADOPTION PROCESS:Our adoption process is simple and straightforward.Start by completing our pre-screening application: https://tinyurl.com/adoptfromHSCCApplications are typically approved or declined the same day. Story
Royce is genuinely sweet boy that likes short walks, sleeping on the couch, and dog treats. Despite his senior age he does love to play with me and he loves to play with squeaky toys. He knows basic commands, enjoys lots of hugs and kisses, it would do very well in a family home. He loves children and gets along with other dogs.

Story
Looking to find the perfect forever home for this sweet girl. ❤️ She is approximately 1–2 years old (per her vet) and is up to date on all of her vaccinations. She was just seen by the vet and is healthy. She absolutely loves to cuddle, play, and be around her people. She still has that fun puppy energy and would thrive with someone who can give her plenty of love and attention. She does well with older children. She can become irritated when very young children are rough with her, but she has never bitten or hurt anyone in my home. She enjoys playing with other dogs, but she does not do well with barriers (such as fences) between her and other animals, as she gets frustrated. When she’s able to interact appropriately, she plays well. This has been a very difficult decision, and I’m committed to finding her a safe, loving home where she’ll be happy. If you think you might be a good fit or have any questions, please send me a message.

He's a very great dog. Really active and lovable. Love's getting pets and thinks he's still a small dog. Great with kids and other dogs. Gets scared when there is fireworks and would refuse to use it. Will let you know when he has to go to the bathroom by moving a lot and goes from sitting to standing multiple times. Food, treats and cage included
