Story
Sneezy is a wonderful dog and would make a great addition to any home. He has lots of love and energy and gets along well with all dogs that he has met so far. He is very curious about people and other animals and greets everybody with his exuberant Wiggle Butts with built-in whip. He is kennel trained but needs a kennel that is non-destructible because he prefers to be out with his people instead of in his kennel. When out and left alone he has not caused any damage. He is very food motivated and loves his treats and has such a gentle mouth. He loves to sit in your lap and lay in your bed and basically just be near you. He loves to snuggle and play with his toys and is content just being with you. He would do well with children except that he gets so excited and his tail tends to hurt when it strikes which happens quite often with his wiggle butt. He would do well in a house with another dog as he loves to play and wrestle even though he is heartworm positive and should not be active. It is hard to slow him down and keep him calm because he is so happy to just be. Fur Sisters pays for the Heartworm treatment, even after adoption! Apply at www.fursisters.org today!Additional information:We are not a shelter. All of our dogs are at private fosters. We only set up meets with approved adopters. If you want to meet our adoptable dogs, many pups will be at Brewhound for Fur Sisters Friday most Fridays from 6-8 pm.Adopters are chosen based on the best fit for each dog, it is not first come, first served. We do not 'hold' dogs. Please note: we have many dogs who are not yet listed as available due to the availability of volunteer time to post or because they are puppies. Story
“Ginger” was given to me a year ago by my little brother. We are not sure of her mix. She’s a really sweet girl and loves kids. I am a single mom who works 10+ hours a day and i’m moving to a small apartment. I wish i had the time for her that she deserves but i know someone out there will take her in and love her as much as we do.

Story
I rescued Lily February 10,2024 from a local rescuer. Lily is very sweet and loving to me. She needs to be with one person and maybe one other dog. She has done well with my small dog. Lily is not aggressive but timid. . She is not destructive. She has never soiled my floors at anytime. No separation anxieyLily has bonded very well with me but not any of my family members I live with. I am having a hip replacement soon and will have nobody to care for her. I have had a knee replacement and my balance is not good. She does not jump on me but prances around me. She looks like she is dancing around me. Lily needs an active individual to walk her , jog with her and swim with her. She might pull once you start walking but needs minor corrections. She loves to fetch the ball, go for long walks, swim, chase squirrels. She is a cuddler. She loves to be outside. She is about 5 years old. She seems fearful of men. Would do better with a female. Thank you.
