Nova is a very sweet girl who really just loves attention. She needs someone who is experienced in dealing with behavioral issues, such as aggression. It comes out of nowhere so I am not sure what is causing it. Previous owners have not been much help in resolving the issue. She LOVES the beach and her ball. She’ll stay out there all day fetching the ball and running in the waves. She loves to be pet and snuggles. If you work from home that works better because she does not like being alone, other than that she would have to be in a daycare or a pet sitter.

Hi! I’ve been fostering this sweet puppy that was abandoned at a bus stop I named Maxwell for about three weeks now. He was not happy about car rides and was not socialized. But now, He plays with my 5year old pittie everyday (he likes to play bite but he is quickly learning no biting and will go back to playing with my dog). Max is great on a leash now and knows the command to wait. I am not sure if Max is up to date on his vaccinations, but he is neutered. He also has a microchip but it did not have any information. Max is highly trainable! The only issue is he has a lot more energy to get out than my dog and I (shes a little older). He needs someone that will be able to spend more time with him to disperse that energy. Max is becoming an all around great gentleman if willing to put just a little more time in! Max had a fear of cars that pass but is subsiding with walks! Potty training is still in process but only three accidents in three weeks! He also is very comfy in the cage!

Sneezy is a wonderful dog and would make a great addition to any home. He has lots of love and energy and gets along well with all dogs that he has met so far. He is very curious about people and other animals and greets everybody with his exuberant Wiggle Butts with built-in whip. He is kennel trained but needs a kennel that is non-destructible because he prefers to be out with his people instead of in his kennel. When out and left alone he has not caused any damage. He is very food motivated and loves his treats and has such a gentle mouth. He loves to sit in your lap and lay in your bed and basically just be near you. He loves to snuggle and play with his toys and is content just being with you. He would do well with children except that he gets so excited and his tail tends to hurt when it strikes which happens quite often with his wiggle butt. He would do well in a house with another dog as he loves to play and wrestle even though he is heartworm positive and should not be active. It is hard to slow him down and keep him calm because he is so happy to just be. Fur Sisters pays for the Heartworm treatment, even after adoption! Sadly, his life wasn't always so great; while living as a stray in the Bahamas, Buster was hit by a car and suffered a spinal injury that left him paralyzed. After a month of dragging his hind legs through the streets, alone and trying to survive, some wonderful people found him and got him the help he so desperately needed. After he was stabilized, they flew him to the states so he could be seen by veterinary specialists and find his furever home! Buster may not have use of his back legs anymore, but that doesn't slow him down. When you put him in his wheel chair, he is unstoppable (just watch your toes, as REALLY, nothing stops him)! As a paralyzed pup, he needs a little extra help, but within minutes of meeting him you'll see that he is absolutely worth it.
