Story
“Ginger” was given to me a year ago by my little brother. We are not sure of her mix. She’s a really sweet girl and loves kids. I am a single mom who works 10+ hours a day and i’m moving to a small apartment. I wish i had the time for her that she deserves but i know someone out there will take her in and love her as much as we do.

Story
We took in Nitro almost a year ago from some friends that loved him but were no longer able to care for him due to there circumstances. We had two dogs and thought he would be a great addition, and he is. Unfortunately after a few month him and on of are other dogs are fighting constantly, both have had multiple vets visits, scars and a trauma response from it. At this time they rotate between there kennels one out at a time due to the constant fights. We have worked with our vet and had a trainer come and try to help, At this point we can’t let them around each other and everyone isn’t living the life they deserve. Nitro is a great dog, he is a cuddler, he wants to be right next to you or on top of you. He loves walks and he wants to play all day if you’d have it. He is kennel trained, he is potty trained with a dog door, he has some minor allergies, he does take medicine for it daily and is in a salmon dog food. No chicken or beef. He would he so happy to find a loving home!

Story
. Toast loves to snuggle and cuddle on the couch and in bed (if you let him!). He is a pretty self sufficient pooch and so long as he has access to a yard to sun bathe and gets a nice walk per day, he is a very chill puppy! Things he does not love are surprises or loud shocking noises, as he will bark and let you know something is afoot! Would be a great dog for someone who would like a softer version of a watch dog. He will let you know if a stranger is approaching but will also come snuggle with his family and take naps all day long! He likely would be best as the only pet in the home.

Story
I got Roux as a puppy and turned 2 this passed January. He is a very sweet dog and is still full of energy. He has gotten his 1st year shots but still needs his 2nd year shots. He has gotten big and likes to escape my yard from the side fence which is not in the best condition. I have patched some of it but he still manages to get out. He needs a home with a bigger yard than mine and more secure. I am super sad to see him go but I feel it would better for him.

Story
Pip was rescued from the Bahamas last summer during a hurricane. He has been with us for several months now. He would do best in a home with without young children. He is very active – loves to run loves to play fetch loves to chase balls -we think he would enjoy running alongside a bicycle! He would love a family that has another dog who is also playful and likes to romp and wrestle with him. We have an older dog who is really regressing because she doesn’t tolerate pips puppy-like behavior. He definitely needs an active home with people who are willing to engage and include him. He is very, very smart, easily trainable and learns very quickly.

Story
Sneezy is a wonderful dog and would make a great addition to any home. He has lots of love and energy and gets along well with all dogs that he has met so far. He is very curious about people and other animals and greets everybody with his exuberant Wiggle Butts with built-in whip. He is kennel trained but needs a kennel that is non-destructible because he prefers to be out with his people instead of in his kennel. When out and left alone he has not caused any damage. He is very food motivated and loves his treats and has such a gentle mouth. He loves to sit in your lap and lay in your bed and basically just be near you. He loves to snuggle and play with his toys and is content just being with you. He would do well with children except that he gets so excited and his tail tends to hurt when it strikes which happens quite often with his wiggle butt. He would do well in a house with another dog as he loves to play and wrestle even though he is heartworm positive and should not be active. It is hard to slow him down and keep him calm because he is so happy to just be. Fur Sisters pays for the Heartworm treatment, even after adoption! Story
Buster is the most resilient, determined, and loving pup you will ever meet. He loves being with his people, getting head scratches, and exploring the yard. Sadly, his life wasn’t always so great; while living as a stray in the Bahamas, Buster was hit by a car and suffered a spinal injury that left him paralyzed. After a month of dragging his hind legs through the streets, alone and trying to survive, some wonderful people found him and got him the help he so desperately needed. After he was stabilized, they flew him to the states so he could be seen by veterinary specialists and find his furever home! Buster may not have use of his back legs anymore, but that doesn’t slow him down. When you put him in his wheel chair, he is unstoppable (just watch your toes, as REALLY, nothing stops him)! As a paralyzed pup, he needs a little extra help, but within minutes of meeting him you’ll see that he is absolutely worth it. If you’re looking for a best friend that will love you unconditionally for years to come, look no further than Busterino. . Xena was born in November 2018 and I got her as a pup in February 2019. She has been a great dog. She loves to play ball and go on walks. She is an Alpha female. She gets along with bigger dogs but not so much smaller barking dogs. My fiance passed away about a year ago and I now have the responsibility of 3 dogs and a cat by myself. I just don't feel like I am able to give them the love and attention they need. I am looking for a family that will be able to give Xena the love and attention she deserves.
