Story
Finley is the sweetest lil guy and deserves a home that can give him more attention than what we can. He has lots of energy and loves fetch but we arent able to invest in him like he deserves. He is an inside dog and is crate trained but loves a good backyard. We have a little one just beginning to crawl everywhere and has only ever been great with him but we try to keep them separated thus ends up spending more time outside or put up. We want him to have a place where he can run around freely. Hes only shown minor resource aggression but weve always made sure he eats undisturbed. This is another reason weve decided to rehome him as we dont want anything to ever happen between him and the baby.

All Southern Crescent Canine Rescue pets are spayed or neutered, all vaccinations are up to date, heartworm negative, and microchipped. We suggest follow-up intestinal worming two weeks after adoption.  We require monthly heartworm preventive after adoption!Are you looking for a protector?  A one-person/family dog? Sitka just might be the one you're looking for.  We've had Sitka since he was 5 weeks old, so we know he has not been treated badly.  He was the shy, stand-offish one of his litter.  He grew into a fearful adult.  He is bonded strongly to his foster family and loves intensely, and we know this bond is transferable with patience and gentle handling.  He is suspicious of strangers and will bark and retreat.   He has NO bite history, but we are cautious with him.  He will alert to any activity that is different in his home.  Once he's comfortable with his surroundings, he is silly, affectionate, and playful. We love Sitka, and want the best for him.  The best for him is a secure, stable home with a canine companion and a patient owner.                                    'We Are Rescue' Until you have held a tiny puppy in your arms as it kissed your face with slobbery puppy breath and felt the love, Until you have held an injured or severely ill dog in your arms and felt their pain, Until you have looked into the eyes of a tired aging senior dog and felt their wisdom, And until you have seen and understood the look in your dogs eyes that tell you their time on earth with you is over .... and you humanely let them go, You will never understand the life of a rescuer. This special girl is just so attracted to children, and is gentle and respectful with kids and other dogs.  She does love to play and run, but settles down for snuggle time. Love her toys and cushy bed. She is a young female with an affectionate and playful personality. She loves other dogs and loves to learn from them! She enjoys lounging on the couch, meeting new friends, and going on adventures. She loves to be around people and is always up for a cuddle. Sammy would make a wonderful companion for a person or family looking for an intelligent and loving dog. Due to her young age, she is an active pup who would love plenty of walks and lots of playtime.
