Story
It breaks our hearts to say this, but we’re looking to rehome our 6-year-old male Lab mix. He’s been a part of our family since he was just 4 months old and has grown into such a sweet, loyal, and well-behaved companion. ✨ About Him: • 6 years old, neutered male • House trained and very well-mannered indoors • Great with children and gentle with people • Up to date on all vaccinations • Healthy, affectionate, and loves attention Im a government employee who has been furloughed due to the shutdown which is impeding on my ability to properly care for my family. We’re currently downsizing and, sadly, cant bring him with us. We’re hoping to find a loving family or individual who can give him the care and attention he deserves.

Story
Meet Echo! Echo is an 1 year-old “super mutt” with a small-to-medium frame and a big, lovable personality. She’s the perfect mix of energetic playmate and loyal cuddle buddy. This smart girl learns quickly, behaves beautifully in the home, and has a natural protective streak that makes her feel like your very own little guardian. Echo adores playing with other dogs, chewing on her Kongs, crunching ice cubes, and—surprisingly—baths! After a good play session, she’s more than happy to curl up next to you for snuggles. When meeting new people, Echo can be wary of sudden movements, so a gentle intro helps her feel safe. She’s also not a fan of stuffed animals, but give her a durable toy and she’s in heaven. Echo is ready for a family who will appreciate her sweet mix of energy, affection, and smarts. If you’re looking for a young dog who will love you fiercely and keep you laughing, Echo might be your perfect match! --- Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150-mile radius from Locust Grove, GA (with some exceptions). Adoption Fee: $250 – includes age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm testing/treatment if needed, deworming, flea prevention, and a registered microchip. To apply, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at: www.streetpaws.org/home/adopt This application doesn’t commit you to adoption—it helps us make sure the home is the right fit. We also verify vet history for current/previous pets, so please call your vet to give permission for us to contact them. For more info, email us at info@streetpaws.org. Story
Meet Jax! Jax is an one year old super mutt with a small-to-medium build and the calm, gentle energy of a much older dog — with a goofy streak that makes him absolutely irresistible. He may have “the grace of a Great Dane,” but that just adds to his charm. Jax’s ideal day includes napping in a cozy spot, exploring the yard, stretching out in the grass, and happily chewing on his favorite toys. He’s an easygoing pup who loves simple pleasures and brings a peaceful presence to any home. He gets along wonderfully with his sister and his foster dog siblings, and he’s already got his basic training down. While he’s a champ at home life, he can be sensitive to loud noises, so a patient family that can offer reassurance during those moments would be perfect for him. Jax is gentle, sweet, and quietly funny — the kind of dog who becomes your steady companion without ever demanding too much. If you’re looking for a laid-back buddy with a big heart, Jax might be the one! Story
Bandit is an incredibly cheerful dog, the friendliest dog you will meet but he does have a lot of energy. He belonged to my mother who can no longer care for him as she is getting older and is now living with my wife and I until he can find a new home. He is sweet, loyal and energetic. He has never bitten anyone and does not have behavioral issues except he will bark at the drive thru window for some odd reason if you get fast food while he is in the car. He will occasionally use the pad in you place one indoors, typically will urinate on the pad but is 50/50 for pooping however he will poop outside. I wish I could keep him but we already have a snoodle annd that's enough responsibility for us. He does have a small skin tear on his lip but he has been examined, his shots are up to date and is currently covered with Banfield. Let me know if you have any questions!
