He is very sweet, energetic, and loves to lay in your lap. He can be very hyper to where he won’t listen to you. He will tell you when he wants to be left alone and when he wants to play. He loves pup cups and going to the park. He loves walks but be carful he will walk you instead! He loves when you throw his toys but not enough to bring them back every time.

Very playful and makes silly faces :) He can be a bit much sometimes and gets a little too rough with jumping and getting mouthy. Things we are working on in training. He does okay around other dogs in our group training class, but we have not let him come up to them or engage in play sessions. With his current foster, he's only been around teenagers and that's good for him. They help him get his energy out with games of tug of war and fetch while being big enough to handle him if he gets jumpy. This love bug hates his crate......throws a tantrum like a 2-year-old. We're also working on this in training. Loves being outside and is constantly going in and out through the doggy door to see what the neighbor dogs are up to. She has been boarding with Sled and Breakfast in Fenton, MO over the last week and has proven that she is trustworthy, communicates well and is calm and collected. Vida has been mismanaged by two previous homes. They did not consider her emotions nor did they provide any structure and control. Vida just wants to go for a quiet walk and cuddle on the couch after. If you have a quiet home with adults or older children and are looking for a low key companion, Vida is available for meet and greets almost any day by appointment. For now, we are providing her with calm interactions and training. But it’s not really training that she needs; she needs good humans who care about her and a quiet place to land. Hi, my name is Harper and I'm about 8 months old. I was rescued by Bond County Humane Society (BCHS) from Fayette County Animal Control. Me and my litter mate were found running at large. We had been in Animal Control for 3 months without anyone interested in adopting. I am friendly and playful. I get excited when I meet new people and dogs. I play with Brandy, another dog at the shelter. I love playing fetch with toys. I am still learning my manners, but I know "Sit" really well. I enjoy water so much that when I'm outside playing I will put most my head in the water when I get a drink. I really love the kiddie pool on a hot day. I wasn't sure about the leash at first, but now I enjoy my walks on leash. I am an active girl so my family should be active as well. I'm probably not house trained, but I am crate trained. I am available for immediate adoption. I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, heartworm tested, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped. My adoption fee is $250.
