Story
I got her at 6 weeks old from a friend that could not keep her because she had an old dog that did not get along with her. My landlord will not let me keep her. She does well going outside but does still have accidents. Will need a little more training. She is super sweet with everyone and everything. She is high energy and needs to be stimulated. She also still loves to chew so will need lots of chew toys. I have vet records. She is only 4 months old and 27 pounds. She is a chocolate lab mix but does not look like she will get over 45-50 pounds.

Story
Meet Nora, a Lab mix with an estimated DOB of 7/4/25. At 26 pounds, she brings the same spirited chaos as the Griswold house on Christmas Eve. She’s making good progress with house training, with only the occasional accident if she hasn’t had a recent trip outside. Nora currently sleeps in a pen with her sister and settles well, though she may need a little patience as she adjusts to being on her own. Yard time and play with other dogs help her burn off energy, and like any young pup, she’ll gladly create her own adventures if left unsupervised. She’s friendly with all dogs and adults she’s met and hasn’t shown any aggression. She hasn’t been around kids or cats yet, though her only known fear is her own reflection, which she finds as suspicious as a flickering holiday light strand. Nora is outgoing, playful, talkative, and always ready for fun. A fenced yard would be ideal for her zoomies, but it isn’t required. If you’re looking for a cheerful, spirited pup who brings a little Christmas Vacation charm wherever she goes, Nora might be your girl. Her minimum adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. Story
Meet Yams!  She is a 2 year old labrador retriever mix who weighs 41 lbs.  She is already showing what a wonderful companion she’ll be! She’s making great progress with house-training and rarely has accidents, though she does prefer her person to step outside with her when it’s potty time. Crates aren’t her favorite, but she’s proven to be trustworthy when left loose in her foster home. At night, she’ll happily snooze wherever she pleases, though her top choice is snuggling in bed with her humans. She loves playtime—whether romping in the yard with her canine foster sibling, chasing toys around the house, or settling in with a good bone to chew. Cuddles are always welcome, too. She hasn’t met children yet, but her foster believes she’d do well with older kids who can respect her shy, sometimes timid nature. Her foster describes her as friendly, adaptable, happy, playful, and quiet. Despite her young age, she has a calm maturity about her—her favorite pastime is curling up right next to her people for a nap after a little toy time. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who balances play with plenty of snuggles, this sweet girl might just be the perfect fit for your family. Her adoption fee is $300  plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. To be considered for adoption, you must first submit the application found at:   http://fs16.formsite.com/WishBoneCanineRescue/adoptionapplication/index.html For information about this dog's breed(s), visit: http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/abc.htm  Wish Bone Canine Rescue  1303 Morrissey Drive Bloomington, IL 61701 www.wishbonecaninerescue.org           Since its our desire that you have a pet you can enjoy a lifetime of love with you, we take special measures to ensure that the pet is the best match for you and your family.  We require that you complete our online www.wishbonecaninerescue.org (Please give us 24 hours to verify your information). Story
Meet Snots, a Lab mix with an estimated DOB of 7/4/25. At 31.5 pounds, he’s every bit the lovable, dopey sidekick his name suggests, with a heart that melts as quickly as Clark’s holiday plans. Snots is making progress with house training but still has excited and nervous pee moments and benefits from a belly band. He doesn't love his crate and he has a lot to say about it, so he needs a home without shared walls.  Snots enjoys hanging out in the house, playing with other dogs, and sticking close to his person. He gets along with dogs of all sizes, cats, strangers, and adults, though he can be a little more timid around men. He hasn’t been exposed to children yet, but we think he’ll do well with them. Once he warms up, he’s affectionate, gentle, and wonderfully loyal. He loves toys, enjoys chewing, follows you everywhere, and happily asks to be picked up like a toddler. Sweet and soft-natured, Snots brings a cozy kind of holiday cheer. He may be shy at first, but once he decides you’re safe, you’ll have a devoted companion who just wants to be near his people. If you’re looking for a tenderhearted goofball with Cousin Eddie charm, Snots might be your perfect match. His minimum adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
