Story
Spud is certainly the goodest boy. I adopted him originally in Dallas, TX and was told that he has anxiety. He's skiddish around strange environments, but does very well with other people and dogs. Cats are a no-go.. he has a hunter instinct and will chase them, though to my knowledge has never harmed one. He's fairly reserved around children. He won't engage with them and prefers to stay next to his adult human where he feels comfortable. I've had him surrounded by kids doting on him, and he just freezes up. I recently moved to Fort Wayne and started working a job with long shifts, and it breaks my heart leaving him home alone for long hours. It's very selfish of me to keep him, and even though it makes me sad to let him go, he deserves to be happy. He does amazingly well-- no potty accidents, no barking sessions, doesn't chew anything (not even toys, but he does love rawhide chews). He's very sweet and is content to just be a couch potato, but plays fetch when hes comfortable.

Story
Scout is a year old. He was originally found in a field before I adopted him so he can be a bit of a velcro dog. He loves human contact, he always wants to play, and he rarely ever barks. I can go days or even weeks without hearing him bark. The times he does bark, he probably needs to be let out to use the bathroom. He knows a few commands: sit, paw, lay down, cage, eat, spin around, and play dead (bang). He’s a playful dog so he needs to be able to stimulate his mind or he may get into some trouble out of boredom. You’ll know when he wants you to play with him because he’ll bring his toy to you. He’s crate trained so there shouldn’t be a problem there. I adopted him when he was 10 months so there may still be some trauma from the first 10 months of his life that I don’t know about: especially with him being abandoned. But overall, if he can just be near you, then he’s okay.

Story
Weight: 70LBS Buster is a paws-itively plump bundle of joy with a body built for belly rubs and a heart as big as his snack stash. This chunky charmer is 80% tail wags, 20% fluff, and 100% goodest boy material. He’s a fetchionista who believes every ball deserves to be chased like it’s the last squeaker on Earth. Don’t be fooled by the extra fluff—when that tennis ball flies, he bolts like a corgi at a cheese festival. 🧀 Social? Oh, absolutely. Buster’s the type of pup who greets strangers like long-lost chew toys and thinks personal space is just a suggestion. He’s the life of the paw-ty, the barkitect of fun, and his tail is a certified helicopter of happiness. His hobbies include: Chasing balls like he’s training for the Fetch-lympics Hogging the couch like a professional cushion connoisseur Spreading joy (and fur) wherever he goes So if you're looking for a dog with more charm than calories, more bounce than a kangaroo on espresso, and a personality that's totally un-fur-gettable, Buster's your guy. Caution: prolonged exposure may result in uncontrollable giggles and a sudden urge to play fetch Dogs: Unknown, we recommend a meet and greet. Cats: Unknown Kids: Unknown, we recommend the whole family coming in to meet this sweet guy!

Story
Weight: 63Lbs Scout – Reporting for Doody! 🐾🎾 Looking for a four-legged friend with big energy, big love, and even bigger belly rolls? Meet Scout, the black Lab mix who’s part dog, part marshmallow, and all heart. He may be a little round on the edges, but that just means there’s more of him to love (and more surface area for belly rubs). Scout’s hobbies include: Fetching like his life depends on it (even if it's just a leaf) Spreading joy and drool in equal measure Mooching snacks with the precision of a professional treat tactician He’s bubbly, boisterous, and believes every visitor is just a new best friend who hasn’t been tackled with kisses yet. Scout’s the kind of dog who enters a room like he’s on a pup-arazzi red carpet—tail wagging, smile beaming, and totally unaware of personal space. His motto? "Work hard, nap harder, fetch always." His shape? Somewhere between a cuddly potato and a meatloaf in motion. His talent? Ball retrieval, comedic timing, and impersonating a weighted blanket. Scout isn’t just a good boy—he’s the best boy in all 7 belly scratch zones. If you’re ready for a life full of laughter, love, and a lot of slobbery tennis balls, Scout’s your guy. Dogs: Yes, we recommend a meet and greet to make sure all dogs get along! Cats: Yes, although slow and steady wins the race! Kids: Unknown, we recommend the whole family coming in to meet this Marshmallow!
