Story
Winston is a sweet, energetic 1-year-old boy (born June 10, 2024). He’s one of our dogs’ puppies and has grown into a loving, playful companion. Winston is potty trained and will go to the door and ring a bell when he needs to go outside. He’s full of energy and would do best in a home with a yard where he can run and play. Despite his playful side, he’s a total lapdog who loves cuddling and watching TV. Winston gets very excited when people come home and may jump up in excitement, so he’d do best in a home with older children. He’s not aggressive—just happy and eager to play! He is great with other dogs with the exception of a previous neighbors dog that didn’t do well with other dogs. He likes to chase and play with cats, though his energy may be too much for some. He loves his rope toys and stuffed animals, and is happiest when he’s close to his people. Winston would make a wonderful companion for someone who can give him lots of love, attention, and space to play.

Story
Missy AnnSpayed Female Lab mix3 Years 60 lbs Tripod superstarMissy Ann has been on quite the journey — and what a glow-up it’s been. After months of dedicated care and every effort to save her injured leg, Missy ultimately underwent an amputation. And then? She absolutely thrived.Missy previously had a non-healing wound on one leg that was later diagnosed as chondrosarcoma (a type of bone cancer). To fully address this and give her the best chance at long-term health, the affected leg was amputated. Based on her treatment and recovery, we believe Missy is now cancer-free. While she does not require any further medical care at this time, we want adopters to be aware of her history.Losing her leg hasn’t slowed her down one bit. Missy Ann has adjusted beautifully and gets around like it was never any other way. She’s been an honorary office dog during her recovery and has stolen hearts left and right with her playful, happy-go-lucky lab personality. She loves toys, enjoys playtime, and brings that classic lab joy wherever she goes. Missy Ann can be a little selective with other dogs, so a meet and greet is required to ensure a good match, but with the right fit she will be an amazing companion. After more than 4 months with us, we’ve grown incredibly attached to this special girl — which is exactly why we want nothing but the very best for her. Missy Ann has faced everything with resilience and grace, and now she’s ready for what she’s always deserved: a loving home of her own.You can read more about chondrosarcoma below https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/chondrosarcoma-in-dogs

Story
We are looking for a new home for our Benji. He's been with us for five years and has been a faithful companion. Unfortunately we travel a lot and it's been challenging to arrange for his care while were away. We also have a baby and it's been challenging to give him the attention he needs. We're hoping to find him a new home with a loving family!

Story
Bear is a sweet 7 year old boy who I adopted from Animal Care about 4 years ago. He is a wonderful dog and through no fault of his is needing to find a new mom. He has free run of the house, never chews, never has accidents in the house. Likes other dogs, good with small children. Rides well in a car, walks nicely on a leash. I don’t think he likes cats has barked at an outside cat in the neighborhood. Not food aggressive, no health issues at all. He’s full of love and is a strong big boy who is very spoiled. Current on all Heartworm and shots have always been current. He needs walks due to his energy level or some type of exercise. He needs lots of love too. He loves everyone and wants to show his love every time someone comes to the door. He settles down in a few minutes after he’s allowed to greet visitors. Good training would help with that. I hope someone can find a spot on their couch or in their family to give this big guy the life he deserves.

Story
I rescued Petra about four years ago. Petra had parvo as a puppy and I was blessed enough to take care of her and she survived. This baby Girl is extremely playful and honorable!! She absolutely love people and gets along very well with other dogs. She is housebroken and typically will not bark inside the home unless she feels it is absolute necessary to make you aware.. She does have a sister Petra. I’m happy if someone can take them both as they both are my heart and I’m absolutely crushed. I have to rehome them. Unfortunately, I have to move across state and I am unable to take them to my new location.

Story
Marie is a sweet, purebred black Labrador Retriever and a good family dog. She plays well with children and has always behaved well with other dogs. She is just over a year old and has her AKC paperwork from the breeder if you would like to register her. She is not spayed, and we had intended her to be the start of generations of family dogs. Marie is on the smaller side for a full-sized lab, despite having an appetite, but well-proportioned. She still has puppy energy, but is trained to sit and listens well. She is from Alaska, where we were stationed in the military. The breeder and another family who watched her for a few months during the move used doggy doors, which is common there, and she learned to go outside whenever the spirit moved her. Unfortunately, when she does not have that ability, she tends to poop in the house. We are looking for someone with the space and home layout to provide her more freedom than we are able.
