Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Dynamic Duo Dudes!!!  Meet DOC & MARTY, 2 mixed breed puppies about 4-5 months old and weighing 20 pounds.  I know they have some lab in them and will probably reach at least 40 pounds as adults. These 2 brothers were found wondering a construction site in San Antonio, TX.  The smaller boy MARTY has some brown on his face and he is the more submissive one.  Very gentle and kind-hearted.  He loves to play and he sleeps right at my feet no matter where I am; in the recliner, on the couch or in bed.  He likes to cozy up.  He follows his brother around to a certain extent but they are NOT bonded, they can be adopted separately. DOC is the other brother that is just a tad bit taller than MARTY.  He is more outgoing and very social but a sweet puppy who is just a typical puppy who plays, eats, sleeps and plays some more.  He can be found in the middle of the other foster puppies playing and running zoomies in the backyard. Both boys are doing really well on their potty training.  I am home most of the day and have time to let them out very often, but they are getting the hang of it. If you are interested in adopting either of these boys please submit an application on the website below.  More pictures are available once you email me.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         May 5, 2024, 5:32 pm

Story
Minnie and her sister Bella were surrendered to rescue when their owner fell ill. Even though they are non-related, they lived together their entire lives. Minnie is an extremely sweet, loving, well-mannered pup who is going to be a great addition to any loving home. She is good with dogs, cats, and kids, and is very quiet. She currently lives in a foster home with 10 dogs and 4 cats and gets along with each one of them. Minnie is a 7 year old lab mix, who is about 60 lb, current on her shots, kept on heartworm and flea preventative, and is spayed and microchipped. Minnie is a social butterfly who adores being around people. She thrives on human interaction, and her tail never stops wagging when she receives pets and attention. If you love to go on walks, Minnie is the ideal companion. She eagerly embraces the opportunity to explore the great outdoors with her leash on. Minnie is not only potty trained but also crate trained, making her a well-behaved and low-maintenance companion. She understands basic commands like sit, down, shake, crate, outside, and stay and is eager to learn more. Both pups are delightful and well-trained family pets who are a regular at their daycares, where they enjoy playing with pups of all sizes. They are being fostered in Texas, but can travel to any state, and even Canada for the right home. We would prefer Minnie and Bella going together to the same home. To meet these gorgeous pups via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com

Story
Handsome Charly is a 5 year old Labrador Retriever/hound mix who weighs around 70 pounds. He is a very handsome guy for sure! Charly has been through a long period of training that should continued. Adopters should be experienced dog owners. With his medium energy level Charly likes to spend time outdoors playing ball and exploring his fenced backyard. He would do in a quiet home. Long walks and daily runs are mainstream activities for this boy. After a good walk, Charly is a mellow boy with good indoor manners. He can be very happy laying around on his dog bed with his belly up. Due to his temperament and size, he would do best in a home with older children - 14 years old and above. Charly has been socialized with other dogs. We are not sure what he thinks about cats yet as he has not been cat tested. Charly is house, crate and leash trained. When it comes to his crate, he is happy to walk inside and show everyone just how well behaved he can be. House training has been completely mastered.Charly will thrive in a home with lots of attention, structure and routine. A well trained Charly will be a happy, loyal Charly and an amazing lifelong companion for his owner. Charly is more than ready to be someone’s best friend and part of a forever home. Could that be you? Charly’s adoption fee is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue, and transport fees. Peta (nicknamed Sweet Girl) is a 3-year-old lab/plott hound mix. She is 70 lbs. of pure love and is not expected to get any larger. Each one of her pups has gone to a happy home and now it is time for this beautiful mama to get her forever home.Peta loves to run and swim so she will be a great addition to an active family. Peta will need a home without cats as she tends to rambunctious around them. Peta is in the process of her leash training and she is eager to please. A family that is willing to continue the work with her on that skill, and other training and socialization will be a perfect fit for her.
