Story
We rescued Bean in 2021 from a shelter after we bought our house. We were told she was brought in as a stray so they had no background information on her. Bean is about 8 yrs old. She is the sweetest girl. She loves being with you, indoors and outdoors, but is not really interested in chasing a ball or playing tug-of-war. She does love to go on walks. She is very good with our cats and our younger grandchildren, if they get too wild she will ask to go outside if it’s nice out. Bean has been known to have potty accidents in the middle of the night during thunderstorms if not taken out right before bed. Bean would make a great companion for someone with lots of love to give.

Story
Hello! I’m Mouse. I am very bashful at first, but if you are patient with me I will warm up to you. I’m as sweet as they come. I’m the kind of dog that will listen to your stories at the end of a long day, tail wagging gently. I might be big, but I am a gentle giant. I’m up for having a brother or sister as a playmate; I can play hard sometimes, but I’m not being mean. I prefer quiet moments; loud noises or fast actions scare me. I’m the kind of dog who will sit by your side while you read a book or watch tv. I’m looking for a home where I can feel safe and loved. My brothers and I came to Heart of the Foothills when we were 12 weeks old and we weren’t socialized at the home we came from. They have worked hard to bring me out of my shell. If you’re looking for a loyal companion that’s a lab mix, a year and a half old, and who will love you unconditionally, then I’m your guy! Let’s make a lifetime of memories together.ADOPTION FEE COVERED!!
