Story

We rescued Maple in 2022 after our dog became lonely and depressed. She appeared to be a perfect match for him as she is super playful, loving, and could keep up with his energy. Our dogs no longer get along and we must find Maple somewhere to live by herself for the safety of everyone in our family and more importantly, for her happiness. Maple is the sweetest, silliest, and most adorable dog we have ever had the pleasure to love. She is 8 years old but does not let that slow her down! She adores belly rubs, ear pets, car rides, doggy icecream, getting the zoomies, and going on walks in the neighborhood. Maple absolutely loves humans and is a joy to everyone she meets. Maple does not always appreciate the company of other dogs and struggles with jealousy issues. She would be the best match in a family that does not have another dog and does not plan on getting another dog. We truly believe (and so does she) that she deserves all of the love and attention to be focused on her.

Kiara was caught after running loose in Norman for a few weeks. She is very sweet and a fun dog. She gets along with the other dogs in her foster home and loves Nick, the other foster in the house! She is still young so will need lots of activity and a canine friend in her new home will be a must.

This was sent by the rescue person. If you can help by immediately fostering email me and I’ll get you the info. Thanks in advanc! Taz was found after he was hit by a car. The woman who hit him just kept driving, even after her bumper fell off. He is badly hurt. I can get surgery covered, but there is nowhere for him to go. And the vet won't do the surgery without having somewhere for him to go because he can't stay at the clinic. I have named him Taz. In spite of the pain he is in he has remained a very sweet dog. He is a lab pit mix. 9 to 10 months old. Both of his back legs were affected. One of his legs was broken in three places and possibly needs to be amputated. The other leg was damaged, where the ball of the joint fits into the hips so that that ball has to be removed and then a false joint will grow. We have the help medically if we can find somewhere for him to go. If anybody can help please, we can get the surgery done and getting neutered and shots and we can also get him to Denver by plane, but if anybody can take him, please help we have very limited time. My vet bill is huge and I can only do so much on my own.September 30, 2024, 12:20 am

Nick and Nora, a brother/sister duo, have been with us since they were pups and are now about 4 years old. They are likely hound/lab mixes of some sort with beautiful reddish coats! Nora is a little more voluptuous than her brother and takes some very inexpensive medicine to control her thyroid. These two have been together all their lives and would certainly not mind finding a home together, but they are also available to adopt separately and we believe they would adjust well in loving families.
