Story
Meet Apollo Apollo is currently a 10 weeks old male Lab mix. He is around 14 lbs an adult best guess is he'll weigh around 45 lbs. Big boy, tender heart—that’s our Apollo. This handsome little survivor was found abandoned in a box with his sister at just 10 days old, and while he’s grown into a sturdy pup who never says no to a meal, underneath it all he is a gentle, sensitive soul just learning the world is safe. Apollo isn’t quite a cuddle bug in the traditional sense, but he has his own special way of showing love—those full-on neck hugs when you pick him up! Absolute magic. They’re the kind of hugs that make you slow down and soak in the moment. This sweet boy can be a little unsure of new things, but he’s already making progress with his foster mom helping him build confidence through positive experiences. His forever family will need to continue that journey—patiently showing Apollo that the world is full of good things. Because of this, he would thrive in a home committed to on-going socialization, like puppy training classes and eventually doggy daycare to help him grow into his best self. Apollo loves other dogs and would do best with a playful, confident pup sibling who can match his sometimes rambunctious energy, while also helping him feel secure. He’s also very cat-friendly and does great with the resident felines in his foster home! As a young puppy, Apollo is still working on all the basics—he’s in the process of completing his puppy vaccines, hasn’t started leash training yet, and is still learning potty skills. He’ll need a family ready to guide him through these important early steps with consistency and encouragement. Because he can be startled easily, Apollo would do best in a home with older kids who understand how to respect puppy boundaries and help him feel safe. Apollo is looking for a patient, experienced home that will help him build confidence, celebrate his wins, and love him just as he is—a sweet, sensitive boy with so much potential. If you’re ready to be his safe place and biggest cheerleader, Apollo will reward you with the most special kind of love. Apollo is neutered, current on age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250. To adopt Apollo, go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-agreement to apply.

Story
Meet Oates 🐾Those soft, soulful eyes? They belong to Oates — a confident little 4.5. month old puppy with a heart far bigger than his paws. From the very start, Oates has shown us who he is. He’s the brave big-hearted brother, quietly helping his deaf sibling Hall (also available!) find confidence in a loud, confusing world. Even as a baby himself, Oates steps up — steady, gentle, and full of love. He’s a tender-hearted soul, the kind of puppy who feels everything deeply. Oates blossoms with calm voices, encouragement, and gentle redirection. Harsh words? They would break this boy’s heart. All he wants is to do right and make his people proud ❤️ When it’s playtime, Oates is all puppy joy — romping with other dogs, chasing toys, and soaking up life one experience at a time. He’s learning the ropes of house life, working on potty training and manners like any growing pup. 🐾 Dog-friendly? Absolutely. 🐾 Cat-approved? Yes! He currently has a kitty friend he adores. 🐾 Kids? He hasn’t met them yet, but with patient guidance and supervision, we have no concerns in the right home. Oates would truly shine in a home with a playful canine sibling to help guide him, wrestle with him, and teach him what it means to be part of a pack. If you’re searching for a puppy who will love you with his whole heart, look at you like you’re his entire world, and grow into a loyal, gentle companion — Oates may be the one you’ve been waiting for. 💙 ✨ Oates comes with: ✅ Neutered ✅ Age-appropriate vaccines ✅ Microchipped 💲 Adoption fee: $250 To adopt Oats, go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-application to apply

Story
This handsome fellow is Jackson! Jackson is an approximately 5 year old male Labrador mix and weighs around 70 lbs. He was rescued from a small rural shelter in Oklahoma. Jackson is so sweet and affectionate (maybe a little too affectionate for small children). He is a strong boy. He is such a goofy boy and just wants to love you! His best life would be with an active individual or family to help him burn energy and get his playfulness out, then he is a mellow boy ready to just relax and be by your side. Adequate exercise is essential for his success. He would be happy to run, walk or hike with you. Jackson plays with an assortment of dogs in doggy daycare, but a playful dog close to his size would be ideal. He loves to play with other dogs, but he is also very people orientated, so in the right situation (active home, with plenty of exercise), he would be fine as an only dog. He is crate-trained, keeps a clean kennel in boarding, and would do best with an Easy Walker type harness and leash. He rides very well in the car. Jackson is neutered, current on vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250. If you would like to adopt Jackson and make her a part of your family, please apply at FYDRadopt.com Since Jackson is in a boarding situation, he qualifies as a foster-to-adopt or just as a foster. Story
Meet Artemis (10 weeks old) Artemis is an approximately 10 week old female Lab with most likely some Chihuahua mixed in. Her current weight is around 7 lbs and best guess on her adult weight is a small medium sized dog around 25 - 30 lbs. Tiny but mighty, Artemis is a little survivor with a heart as big as her soulful eyes. Found in a box with her brother at just 10 days old, this brave girl has already shown the world how strong and special she is—and now she’s ready to find a family to call her own. Artemis is the sweetest little lady who will absolutely melt you with one look. She may be small, but don’t let her size fool you—she knows how to stand up for herself! Her favorite way to say hello? Full-body butt wiggles that are so enthusiastic they practically wiggle her whole world. She loves the company of others and thrives with gentle companionship. While she can feel a little overwhelmed by big, high-energy personalities, Artemis would blossom with a calm, confident dog sibling who can show her the ropes and help her grow her courage. Bonus: she’s a huge fan of feline friends too—the resident kitten is one of her favorite playmates! Like any young puppy, Artemis is still learning all the important life skills. She’s working on her puppy vaccines, hasn’t had much exposure to the big wide world just yet, and is still figuring out potty training and leash basics. With a little patience, consistency, and lots of love, she’s sure to grow into the most wonderful companion. With her gentle and loving nature, Artemis would do beautifully in a home with kids of any age—as long as her new family is ready to help guide her through puppyhood and celebrate all her little milestones along the way. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, slightly wiggly best friend to grow up with, Artemis might just be your perfect match. Artemis is spayed, current on age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250. To adopt Artemis go to www.foreveryoursokc.org/adoption-application to apply!
