Story
Buffy loves her rope toy! This was the first day she actually came out of her shell and played! Her trainer Abby took this cute photo and also tells us "i've never seen a dog want to just snuggle more than she does! " "she'll just lay on your lap for hours if she could" She's a choc lab mix and approx2 years old . She's a stray from Scranton and we can tell she hasn't had the easiest life before she came to us .She needs to put on some weight but ultimately she's still just the sweetest girl looking for a forever home .Apply here : https://www.cognitoforms.com/griffinpondanimalshelter1/griffinpondanimalshelteradoptionapplicationfordogs

Story
Prescott is a 7/8/9 month old Retriever /pit mix.Hes learning commands and is very treat motivated. His tail never stops wagging and he's a sweet boy in need of a forever home.He will require guidance and puppy manners. He's quite the looker and we would be happy to test him with other dogs.No cats. Please help give this boy a REAL Chance at a forever home. He has been failed by humans by being rehomed with people who weren't willing to put the effort into his training. He is now a much larger PUPPY and those cute puppy-like behaviors aren't as easily tolerated. Please consider the time that needs to be taken with acclimation and patience while he learns new skills. He's very deserving of a forever family and he certainly doesn't deserve to grow up in a kennel .If you'd like this little man to join your family , apply here : https://www.cognitoforms.com/griffinpondanimalshelter1/griffinpondanimalshelteradoptionapplicationfordogs

Marshie is a stunner ??Those eyes will get you every time .We have her listed as a lab mix and she's coming into her own at the shelter.Shes approximately 3 years old and has been navigating the leash very well. She's tested well with other dogs , no cats. No small children as they appear to be overwhelming to her. She's a really nice girl with a good demeanor . She's silly loving and supremely affectionate. She loves car rides and open trails . She (like all other shelter dogs) will need decompression time while acclimating to a new home. She came to us after being pushed from a car on Marshwood Rd .We aren't sure what she's been through but we can promise her a better future .Marshies adoption fee has been lovingly sponsored ??by the Simmons Family. Story
Hey there, I'm Auggie, and I'm your laid-back canine companion with playful and active, medium energy. I am 5 years old and about 75 chesty lbs of wonderful.  I'm a happy boy, gentle, confident, and always attentive to the needs of my human pals. I am good with everyone I meet and with dogs, and can be cat tested. I am really such a great family dog and well mannered and eager to please. Just a great guy, looking for my forever family. I promise, I will not disappoint.  (IF YOU DO NOT GET A REPLY EMAIL WITHIN 24 HOURS, CHECK YOUR SPAM BOX AND SEND US YOUR PHONE NUMBER, FOR WE REPLY EVERY FEW HOURS TO EMAILS) PREGNANT DOG RESCUE/LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility, specializing in pregnant dogs, moms with newborns, and small or medium adult dogs (we take in pregnant dogs, we do not adopt out pregnant dogs).  We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions!  (We often have puppies and moms not listed on the site, for they might be too young at the moment to list, so please, contact us to be sure of our available pups!)  We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. PREGNANT DOG And ALL BREED RESCUE/LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER puppies are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health. Our Puppies are current on vaccines, wormed, and extremely well cared for from birth - most even know how to use a dog door by the time they leave us!  They are friendly and social and very affectionate!  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! PDR/LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home.  Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile.  We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm and Lyme tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $595 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)  May 9, 2024, 1:31 pm

Arnold is as sweet a dog as you could ask for. He is about a year old and 38 lbs. Arnold loves kids and is great with dogs and we can cat test. Truly just the sweetest little guy, who will not disappoint. He is a solid weight now, not skinny like the photos, and looks just like a small Lab. Eager to please and easy to have as a family member - a must meet, for he will steal your heart for sure. Story
Cucumber is a great puppy. She is 10 months old and very sweet and gentle. She is the more wire type coated doodle of sorts, and weighs about 45 lbs at this time. Cucumber is great with dogs and gentle with everyone she meets. A touch submissive and shy at first, and a pretty calm dog, for such a young dog. We can cat test. A must meet, for this sweet pup will steal your heart for sure.
