Story
Rhea is a great family dog. She is sweet and gentle and super affectionate, although still jumps up with joy, to start. She loves everyone and all dogs and good with cats. Rhea is 3 or 4 years old and a chubby 50 lbs of wonderful. Walks well on leash; good in the car; friendly to everyone. Truly the best family companion you could ask for. Playful and athletic, but not at all hyper. Just the best and such a pretty girl. A must meet, for she will steal your heart for sure. Way smaller than she looks in photos LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)   August 22, 2025, 7:28 pm

Bella just turned 2 years old on October 9th. Shes a very lovable dog but sadly doesn’t get along with my other dogs. Bella is a husky and lab mix. She is very energetic and loves to be around people, Bella requires someone who loves to snuggle and play. She enjoys the outdoors. She is great with children who are 5 and older. She gets along with MALE dogs but not females

Story
Nickname: Lena Girl Elena is a big, beautiful, and quiet Pyrenees–Lab mix with an equally big heart, and she’s ready to find her new forever home. She arrived with her boyfriend Damon and their son Stefan after their loving family could no longer care for them, but this sweet girl is confident and content whether she’s with them or on her own. Elena is mellow, fully housebroken, and prefers a calm lifestyle with leisurely strolls where she can take in all the sniffs and sights. She’d do best in a home with teens and appreciates a peaceful environment without too much chaos. While she can be a little selective with her dog friends, she doesn’t mind cats, and if you have a current dog, we’re happy to arrange a meet-and-greet to ensure it’s a good match—Elena tends to favor fellow laid-back pups who enjoy moseying through life just like she does. This gentle, quiet, and stunning girl is ready to bring her steady companionship and soft sweetness to a lucky family.

Story
Meet Damon, a handsome 5-year-old gentleman who’s ready to settle into his next chapter of life! Damon came to us with his wife and son after their family could no longer care for them, and he’s been an absolute sweetheart ever since. This laid-back guy is all about the good things in life—cozy blankets, tasty treats, and a comfy bed to snooze in after a nice walk. Don’t be fooled by his relaxed vibe, though—when he’s feeling it, Damon can be a strong boy on leash! He’s also super housebroken here at the shelter, crate trained, and wonderfully quiet. Damon has the softest “old man eyes” that melt everyone’s heart, and he’s looking for a calm, loving home—preferably without cats and with older teens who can appreciate his chill personality. He can be a bit selective with other dogs, which is pretty typical for a mature male who’s gone most of his life unneutered, so we’d require a meet and greet to make sure it’s a good match. He really adores his lady friend Elena, so a female friend may be best. If you’re looking for a mellow, affectionate companion who loves people, cuddles, naps, and a bit of adventure, Damon is your guy! Come meet this sweet soul and give him the cozy “retirement” home he truly deserves.
