Email info@rescuepooches.com for an application Hello! I am looking for my forever home! I'm seven months old. All of my siblings have been adopted! The rescue isn't exactly sure what the mix is, but it is definitely hound! I will most likely be a medium sized adult, but they don't know for sure. I am currently in a home with other dogs, outdoor cats, and grandchildren. So, I am socialized! I am your typical happy go lucky puppy and ready for a home to call my very own! My foster will be part of the interview process and she will provide potential adopters with additional photos and video. Right now, he is being fostered in Tennessee. The rescue lists in areas where transport is available. They use safe USDA licensed dog transports that will bring him to their new family, once they are adopted! Once you send an application, the rescue will contact you for an interview and be able to send more photos and even videos He is neutered and UTD on all required vaccinations. He is microchipped and on flea preventative. Please, you MUST click the following link BEFORE emailing for further information. If you'd like to find out more information about our adoption procedure or to apply for this dog paste this into your browser: https://rescuepooches.com/adoption-info-application/

Story
Dogs don't get to choose humans , if they did their lives might have very different outcomes.Instead dogs are handpicked by a human with the ability to know right from wrong , humans accept the responsibility for training , teaching and providing comfort, a home , love and proper care and nutrition .If those needs are not met or if the human fails to teach, train , protect , guide etc the dog becomes a casualty of that lifestyle .A life it never asked for. Many times the odds are stacked against a dog before it even has a chance .Many current shelter pups are casually rehomed again and again and again with different expectations each time . They are being set up for failure and have no choice but to fall into patterns unbecoming to them .It is never the dog , but instead , the humans that have failed them .Brutus is one example of a pup who fell into the unlucky cycle of being chosen by the wrong humans , placed in the wrong situations and eventually ending up with us at the shelter where he remains for 2 years. In those two years, he has made many friends , he has staff that visit him to share their lunch breaks and those who stop in at the end of the day to spend some cuddle time before going home for the night .They sit on the floor and tell him it's all going to be alright and that he will someday find a real home where he will have clear expectations and will be shown right from wrong with a kind hand guiding him .This boy lived with children previously , he is selective with other dogs 🐶, he likes some but not all .No cats. He's now 4 years old and has lived most of his life in upheaval . He now has consistency and love but he still needs a home .If you can provide a structured , calm , learning , loving environment for this boy , you would have the best friend you never knew you needed. Choose Brutus , with all of his past , all of his potential for the future and all of your heart . ??Www.griffinpondanimalshelter.com/adopt

Story
This big brute is Donald! Donald is a 2 year old Yellow Lab. He is mostly housebroken and can easily be fully housebroken once on a routine. He knows sit and paw.Donald is quite big for a lab and is stronger than he realizes. He sometimes forgets there is a person attached to his leash, but a slight tug and he corrects this behavior. Donald barks when he first meets new people but warms up within seconds. He is genuinely sweet and happy. He loves to play with toys and run off leash in our enclosed outdoor run. Donald needs to be the only animal in the home. He should do well with children who understand basic boundaries, given his sweet nature. We do not recommend small children due to his size and strength.

Story
Bronx is a sweet guy who wasnt properly raised. Hes a wonderful dog who is just lacking basic manners. Its not his fault no one took the time to teach him. Bronx has a habit of jumping up, and at 78lbs this isnt always appropriate. Luckily, he has been showing amazing progress. His temperament is wonderful. He loves plush toys. Bronx has not been dog or cat tested yet but his previous owner did say that he has played well with other dogs, just hasnt lived with one. His previous owner also stated that he is an escape artist, so he will need someone who will be vigilant about closing their doors and keeping him safe. Bronx has also lived with many children. We are searching for a home with a 6ft fenced in yard or similar for his security. You can apply to meet this handsome hunk here :Www.griffinpondanimalshelter.com/adopt
