Story
black lab/pitt mix, rescued from Jackson, MS. Up-to-date on all vaccinations. He was heartworm positive but is now testing negative and xrays show no signs of worms. He's 60 lbs, vet would like him to lose a few. His age is an estimate but he was estimated to be 1.5 when we brought him home in August 2022 so he's around 4.5 yrs old. He is a giant lap dog. He will literally sit and make himself at home right on your lap. He and Sophie got into a few fights when we first brought him home, but PupPup had also been attacked twice by other dogs in the area (MS). Now they're completely fine and play and no issues. He's never shown any aggression with food, dogs, children, adults. He can get excited and jump which we've tried working on. He will chase after cats though so that's a no on cats. He is ok with most storms and fireworks. Never been around kids so I don't know how he would react, although I don't think it would be a problem. I worry he'd get excited and knock over kids.

Story
Frank is the best boy. He is a very loving boy but he doesn’t like to be left alone. he’s the most loving dog ever. He is calm when he is with someone. He is crate trained and house trained. Loves fetch and dog parks. He would do well with a family who has a yard he can run in and tons of playtime. Unfortunately I cannot dedicate the time he needs

Story
Addi is a 2 yr old purebred AKC silver Labrador Retriever that weighs 44 lbs. She was never spayed. But her adoption fee includes spaying her soon, heartworm/lyme testIng and giving all core vaccines. She is already microchipped as a puppy. She is a little submissive, scared of kids, mostly dog friendly. She obviously never received accurate socialization. But good once she knows you. Supposedly housetrained. Was surrendered by her original family. She deserves a loving home. If you are interested in meeting or adopting Addi please text Casey at 570-441-0083. We adopt to the general public but we also adopt to military veterans with adoption fee waived in order to provide our heroes with companion or emotional support dogs . Our other adoptable pets our posted on our website as well as the very brief (5 minutes) application form. https://rescuepetsservingvets.org ##2524765##

Buzz is a 6 year old 68 lb neutered male mix of likely Lab/Bully mix. He is microchipped and fully vaccinated. Dog and people friendly but not good with cats. He likes to play outside! Is a sweet goofball! He is Heartworm positive from being originally from SC. But he is already on the treatment process and is completely curable. We will cover all expenses for that treatment, but he can be adopted now. He deserves a loving home! If you are interested in meeting or adopting Buzz please text Casey at 570-441-0083. Story
Rhea is a great family dog and she loves kids. She is sweet and gentle and super affectionate, although still jumps up with joy, and is active and playful. She loves everyone and all dogs and good with cats. Rhea is 3 or 4 years old and about 48 solid lbs of wonderful. Walks well on leash; good in the car; friendly to everyone she meets Truly the best family companion you could ask for. Playful and athletic, but not at all hyper. Just the best and such a pretty girl. A must meet, for she will steal your heart for sure. Way smaller than she looks in photos. We just do not understand why folks are not asking about this great family companion... LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)   December 28, 2025, 3:51 pm
