Story
Rosey is a one year old 49 lb spayed female mix of likely Lab/Pit Bull. She came from SC kill shelter as a very young puppy in a litter. Our rescue was asked to save them, which we did. They were listed as a Catahoula mix. But when they got older they looked likely to be a Lab/Pit Bull mix. Two sisters were adopted together by an older couple. But after nearly a year they were returned to our rescue because they were not good with their other dogs as they got older. We made suggestions for training but they didn't want to because of the cost for a trainer. They were dominant occasionally with themselves. So we suggested them being adopted separately with only adults and teenagers. They are loving with people at our rescue. Especially Rosey was a hugger with a young woman here at our rescue. They are current on vaccines, microchipped and heartworm/Lyme and two other tick borne disease negative! We believe they should be adopted separately and with a person that knows how to train dogs and give commands! Their 3rd sister was also dominant but now well trained. They are house trained! They need the right owner or family! If you are interested in meeting or adopting Rosey please text Casey at 570-441-0083. We adopt to the general public but we also adopt to military veterans with adoption fee waived in order to provide our heroes with companion or emotional support dogs . Our other adoptable pets our posted on our website as well as the very brief (5 minutes) application form on https://rescuepetsservingvets.org ##2648371##

Story
Cappy is just the best guy. Dumped by a family with too many dogs (got new younger ones and dumped the older ones), this boy is incredible. Everything you love about the English Lab, and more. Well mannered, easy to work with, active and athletic, but not hyper at all. Cappy is 7 years young and about 55 lbs of awesome. He is great in all situations, and with people and dogs. We can cat test. Truly a great dog, in need of a real forever home. A must meet, for he will steal your heart for sure.  LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER (Pregnant Dog Rescue) is a private, in home, all breed rescue facility. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions! We pride ourselves on being an HOLISTIC center and feed only holistic foods and various vitamins and supplements to all of our dogs. LOVABLE MUTTS ADOPTION CENTER dogs are well socialized, very friendly, and in wonderful health.  We stand by our pups/dogs, and give 10 days for a refund and almost always take our dogs back at any age of their lives (often depends on dog)! LMAC has an application screening process.  All applicants are asked to provide vet references, personal references, and a home visit.  We pride ourselves in matching up the right dog with the right home. Sometimes this happens quickly and sometimes it might take awhile. We hope you understand and are willing to wait for the perfect pup for your situation. We reserve the right to turn applicants down and to change our mind about a suitable match, for we are only concerned about what is best for our dogs.  Also note that we arrange our visiting hours around your schedule, as this is a private, in home facility.  We respond to all inquiries promptly, so if you have any trouble sending us an email, or have not heard back from us within 24 hours, please, CONTACT US AGAIN and check your spam!  (We all know how emails can be at times!) Our dogs are spayed or neutered (if old enough), up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested, and free of fleas and ticks.  We temperament test our  dogs and they are all suitable for many family situations. Our dogs are well mannered, know some basic commands, and are usually housebroken within a week of being with us (if old enough).  They are in our family/home situation at this time (not in kennels or crates, although most are crate trained) and are worked with daily.  All of our dogs do well with other dogs and many do well with cats. Adoption donations vary with age, breed, vetting, and training of the dog, and range from $250 to $695 (most being $595).  (We do not tend to place puppies or small dogs with kids under 6 and reserve the right to match who WE feel would be the best homes for our dogs.)   February 16, 2026, 1:46 pm

Story
We have had the dog a couple of years. She is now 5 years old and doesn't like cats or chickens. I love the dog but she attacked my cat and I can't have her in the home. I am afraid if she gets the cat she will hurt it. She does well with other big dogs. I am not sure about little ones. I haven't had her by them a lot. Only because of how she is with the cat. She is not fixed. And I am also sorry to say she isn't up to date with shots. Lost track of that. Need to get her rehomed as soon as possible. If not I am also sorry to say I will have to have her put down. She is to beautiful of a dog to have that done. Please if possible I would love some one to have this dog. I am not sure if she will be good around kids. My kids are adults now. The only reason I put a fee is to cover the ad to get her rehomed.
