Story
Enzo is a great family dog. He is a fluffy black/chocolate lab with fur as soft as a plush blanket. He loves to cuddle on the couch or in the bed at night. He is potty trained but is young, so still needs to potty frequently. He knows basic commands (“here/come”, “sit”, “lay down”, and “paw”). He loves to run, and has mostly been off-leash but is working on his leash manners. He is a very well mannered pup who will sit and wait for you to enter the house instead of scratching or jumping at the door and will also sit while you fill his dinner bowl. Enzo was born in September 2025. He has been in a home with 3 kids, ages ranging from 10 down to 18 months old. He’s a very friendly dog who gets along with everyone. He is a bigger dog and may knock down little ones until he learns not to jump. He will curl up on your lap like a cat, follow you anywhere and be your best bud. Rehoming due to children not adjusting to dog energy, and wanting what’s best for the dog. He’s not aggressive at all.

Story
Momba was given to me by my oldest son as a Father's Day gift. My two Golden Retrievers had died within the previous year and all of my life I had always had dogs as companions. I got her at 8 weeks old. Right from the start, she was very protective of me. She would bark if people got close to me, if strangers come to the house, if cars drove up to the house, etc. She is still very much that way. Thus, she may be the world's best burglar alarm. I am now 78 years old with several health conditions. I am currently in the process of arranging to move to another country and I cannot take her. She is only 5 years old and I have no one I can give her to. I am hoping I can find a home for her. It would need to be a home with a loving owner but a limited amount to people coming through because she is very protective of her owner and "her territory". She is easy to train with treats but is not good with negative discipline (yelling, physical threats or striking). Food, food, food!

Story
We have Bo since he was 8 weeks old. Loving dog with some issues, he would mark in the house, pull when walking and would not leave guests alone-always wants to play. We got him neutered, sent him to a 8 week training program. Marking stopped, we walk him with a prong collar. Since returning from training , Bo has nipped me, my wife and grand daughter when trying to get a toy from him, something he never did. Because of the children, we decided to rehome. Vet says it’s a trigger when threatened. He would need a home with space to run, recommending no children or other pets.

Story
Meet Poppi — a sweet, playful girl who’s really come into her own.  Poppi has grown so much in her foster home and her personality is shining through more every day. She loves running in the yard, gathering leaves like little prizes, and carrying her favorite chew toy wherever she goes. Once she’s comfortable, her goofy expressions and playful energy make her impossible not to smile at. She’s crate trained, continuing to improve her potty skills, and doing great in a busy foster home. Poppi enjoys other dogs and would likely thrive with a friendly canine companion to play with and learn from. Poppi would be happiest in a home with adults or older, dog-savvy kids, and she does best when given a little time to settle in. With gentle guidance and consistency, she blossoms into a loving, affectionate companion who enjoys snuggles just as much as playtime. If you’re looking for a sweet pup who’s past the fragile stage and ready to be part of everyday life — Poppi may be your perfect match.  Apply for consideration to adopt at www.RDRNE.org  Please note, we receive a large number of applications. We appreciate your patience as we complete our review processes. A personal interview, reference checks, meet and greet with pet, home visit and a solid vet history are required for adoption.  ##2644762##
