Story
Buddy is an inquisitive 5-year-old lab/hound mix. He absolutely loves to be outside, nose to the ground, exploring his surroundings. It takes some time for Buddy to get used to a person and he can be a really protective dog when it comes to those he is fond of. Once he gets to know you, Buddy loves to spend time with you. He is content to be around other dogs and loves to take a nap. He has the perfect energy balance of excitement when outside, but calm and quiet inside. Due to his protective nature, Buddy has a couple of biting incidents in his history. He would benefit from a force free trainer and leash training as well. If you think you can provide Buddy with a forever home, please reach out and contact Four Footed Friends at (724) 349-1144 or fourfootedfriends82@gmail.com. Story
Caramel is a beautiful 4-year-old lab/hound mix. She has a lower energy level and enjoys bonding with the people she likes. So far at Four Footed Friends, we have found that Caramel tends to bond quickly with older people, and especially older women. If you are older and can give this sweet lady a slower, quiet life, she would be a fantastic dog companion and Caramel might be the perfect fit for you! She has some special needs that any potential owner would need to be prepared for. Caramel has a history of seizures and is currently taking medication to prevent more of them. She gets very protective over her belongings, food, and favorite people. She is an anxious girl, and we have found that in the kennel she has a hard time relaxing around so many other dogs. When outside she is great on a leash and settles down very quickly. We believe she would thrive in an environment where she can focus all her energy and love on one or two owners and not have to react to children or other dogs very often. If you think you can provide Caramel with a forever home, please reach out and contact Four Footed Friends at (724) 349-1144 or fourfootedfriends82@gmail.com. Story
Meet Randy!  Randy has been seeking his forever home for a long time!  Randy was brought into foster as a skinny stray and has made tremendous strides since being placed in foster care.  Randy has put on weight and begun to enjoy the comforts of having a home.  Although Randy is approximately 12 years young, he still has a lot of spunk left in him and really enjoys going for walks and playing in the yard.  Randy does have some arthritis as does any pup his age so he does need minimal steps but has gotten a lot stronger over the last months.  Randy is house broken and doesn't need to be crated when left at home. Good with dogs and cats older children preferred!  Great couch potato!  If Randy sounds like your guy apply today   ##1828946##

Story
Hi, I'm Ruby! My nicknames are Ruby Dooby Doo, Rubes, and Ruby Tuesday. I'm a 2 year-old female with 48lb of love to give you. I'm full grown, fixed, up to date on my shots, and getting really good at going potty outside and other doggie manners like that. My adopter should be willing to keep me on a regular potty schedule and make sure I continue to use my crate. Speaking of adopters, I *really* want a mommy in my home. I am kinda fearful of men, and it might take me a little while to trust any guys in the home. These foster people have been taking me out to pet stores and events, which is helping me to learn maybe human guys aren't scary after all. I get along well with boy doggos though!  In fact, I get along pretty well with most of the doggies I have met as long as they're my size (or smaller) and don't want to play 24/7. I love love love to play and wrestle, but I also need my downtime. That being said, I'd really like a home with at least one other dog - but they should be medium energy. I might be young but I don't want to play all day everyday. A girl's gotta get her beauty rest to continue to look this good! So, if you have another medium energy doggo or two, we can run around and play and then get a good nap! Hmmm what else? I could live in single family home, duplex, condo, etc but don't think an apartment building is best for me. I'd really love a fenced in yard and/or access to outdoor space. Except I don't want to go walking near busy roads or by loud kids on the playground because that scares me! I'd much rather be one with nature. Then, after our walkies, we can cuddle on the couch together, cause I'm just so good at snuggling and making people happy. My foster mommy said I am a dopamine machine! Ok I think I covered the big stuff. Let me know if you have any questions! Xoxo Ruby ##1886673##
