We are looking for a loving home for our wonderful 5-year-old black lab mix, Porter. This has not been an easy decision for us but, over the past few years, he has become increasingly more aggressive with our other dog. We are worried for their safety and are worried porters quality of life with us is not what it would be if he were in a home without other dogs. After consulting with a few specialists, it seems he may have some jealousy issues with our other dog that are intensifying. We believe Porter would benefit from a loving home where he is the only pet. Porter is extremely sweet otherwise. He listens very well and is very loving with humans. He loves cuddling and being active • 5 years old • 55 lb • Neutered • Fully vaccinated, no health issues • House and kennel trained. Porter has lived in apartments and houses and has done well in both • Loves being outside! • Basic obedience trained • Has been around children and has not shown aggression (though we don’t have kids)

At 2 years young and 58 pounds, I am a perfect Medium doggy for all of your adventures in life...whether it be an extreme hike in the mountains or a stroll to the local coffee shop. I walk well on leash, know how to sit, lie down, wait, and fetch. I am completely housetrained, crate trained, and understand a lot of human speak. Now those are some nice bonuses for my new family! Did I mention that I LOVE playing in water? Whether it be a swim in the river, a kayak float on the lake or a run through the sprinklers, H2O is my favorite element. My Mama was a beautiful Aussie mix and it appears that my Papa was a Labrador retriever!! My black, shiny coat is sleek, extremely short and low maintenance and shedding!! I am great with other dogs...I am just a very companionable dog!! I do need to make a confession; I am terrified of going to the vet!! Foster Mum doesn't know what happened that could make me so afraid of those in the medical profession, but our current vet comes out to the house. No scary trips to the vet for me!! As much as I LOVE my foster Mum, we would both like to be saying "Parting is such sweet sorrow"...so I can make you and yours my new family :) So, whether you are named Capulet or Montague, or some other name in between, I hope that you read my bio and decide to add me to your family!!

Just like Belle in Beauty and the Beast, I am looking for my happily ever after too! I also have the beauty going on with my warm expressive brown eyes, sleek shiny black coat and of course my happy attitude on life makes me an excellent family member. At 4 years old I'm at that perfect age where I'm out of the destructive puppy stage. I still have the energy for adventures like going on neighborhood strolls, nature hikes, camping trips, river excursions or just a trip into town on an errand run but also love the cuddle time on the couch with my people. Oh yeah and I'm already crate and house trained. Yes siree, I'm at that stage where I'm just a whole lot of fun to have around. At around 47lbs I'm big enough for those said adventures but also small enough I won't take up the whole couch! That's pretty pawsome cuz I really do love my cuddle time! I am friendly with people tall or small and I do well with the other foster pups here. I am very calm. well behaved and know a few commands. I try my hardest not to make any waves or extra work for my foster mom. I have the bestest times with just the simplest things. I love my doggie pool especially when you're filling it up. The water hose is soooo much fun!! Add my ball in the mix and I'm the happiest girl!!!! My short sleek coat is low maintenance making me a wash -n- go type of gal which just means we both have more time keeping cool in the pool. Oh my yes, that's what I'm talking about!! This Beauty is looking for my happily ever after, could it be with...YOU?!!
