Mike is a 4-year-old black lab mix weighing around 66lb, and he’s the perfect mix of cuddly couch companion and playful best friend. If you’re looking for a dog who will happily curl up beside you for belly rubs but also get excited for a game of tug-of-war, Mike might just be your guy. Mike is crate trained, house trained, and knows several basics including sit, place, stay, and kennel. He rides well in the car, does great out in public, and has a nice medium energy level. One good walk a day plus some playtime is enough to keep him happy and content. This sweet boy LOVES toys, especially smaller ones he can carry around in his mouth when he gets excited. It’s one of his cutest little quirks and seems to help him calm himself down. He’s also a huge fan of cuddles and truly thinks he’s a lap dog despite his size. Mike has done well with cats and can do well with other dogs too, though slow introductions are best. He would likely do best in a home with older children or an adult-only home. Mike is looking for a family that will give him structure, love, and lots of affection in return for endless loyalty and snuggles. He has so much love to give and deserves a forever home where he can finally relax and be someone’s spoiled baby 🖤

Stella is the kind of dog you fall for instantly 💛 She greeted a volunteer with the softest tail wag and even snuck in a few kisses right through her kennel door. From the start, she showed just how sweet and gentle she is. She was easy to leash, walked beautifully, sat perfectly for photos, and took treats so gently. Truly a well-mannered girl. Once outside, her playful side came out… fun and a little silly, but never over the top. She leaned right into her person for pets and covered them in kisses. She also met another dog and was a bit shy at first, but incredibly gentle. There really isn’t a single bad thing to say about her. She’s affectionate, easy, and just a total doll.

Some young dogs are nonstop chaos. Landon is not one of them. Landon is an approximately 8 month old mixed breed boy around 40 pounds with a calm, easygoing personality that makes him incredibly easy to enjoy. He loves going on walks, exploring, and splashing around in the pond, but he is not one of those dogs that constantly needs stimulation every second of the day. Most of the time, Landon is perfectly content lounging around nearby, soaking up the day, and flashing his signature smile at everyone around him. He is great with dogs and cats and has a naturally relaxed, social personality. He enjoys playing and adventuring with other dogs but is not overly pushy or hyper. He also is not much of a barker, which is always a nice bonus. Landon has a really nice balance to his personality. He is young enough to happily join you on hikes, walks, trips to the lake, or outdoor adventures, but mellow enough to settle down and relax once the fun is over. If you are looking for a happy, adaptable dog that is up for whatever life brings without turning your home upside down, Landon would be a wonderful fit. Good fit: someone looking for a relaxed young dog that enjoys adventures but also knows how to chill. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport.
