Story
Ricky is a dog that is eager to please his person! He lives for treats and toys and knows basic commands, and he's more than ready to learn. He likes a calmer household where he can enjoy his tennis ball and hang out with his favorite people. He's not very interested in socializing with other dogs and would much rather play fetch with the humans. Visit www.cachehumane.org for more information on how to adopt me!

Story
Gary 801-388-4797REPORTED BY CURRENT OWNER:Lives in an apartment but not the ideal home for her. She is house trained and knows the sit, down, no and “get up for treats” commands. She has a high energy level and would love to have a home with a yard with an active person or family with respectful children. OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Poor Brokie has not had the best luck in her short life. She has been adopted from our facility twice and returned each time due to no fault of her own; once due to a landlord issue and most recently, when her owner passed away. Brookie is a very sweet girl with lots of energy; she loves playing with toys and likes to be on the go! Although she may chase a cat unless trained not to, she’s enjoys playing with the other dogs in playgroups. Weighs 66 pounds.

Story
Toby was rescued by a woman (who asked me to watch him for one month)He had lived at the pound for a year.He was in a small cage all that time and gained a lot of weight.I have had him about three months. He has lost a lot of weight and is now a happy playful sweet yellow labhe is probably 6 plus years old.He is obsessed with his ball, he can be seen, pushing the ball with his nose around the play area for hours. Now that he feels better he gets bored easily and the ball has been a life line for him.Very sweet. Toby can be a little food aggressive with other dogs.

Story
REPORTED BY FORMER OWNER:Ruger was surrendered to us because he killed the neighbor’s chickens. He will need a home that doesn’t have any nearby. He’s crate trained and house trained and good being left alone for up to 8 hours per day. He’s a very loving dog that behaves well at the vet’s office. He previously lived with children over age 5 and could do so again as long as they are respectful. He has a high energy level and is very loving. He’s very kind to people and other dogs. OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Ruger is a nice dog that doesn’t seem to like any reaches over his head. He walks okay on the leash and knows the sit command. He’s friendly toward the other dogs here at the shelter, but would most likely chase a cat unless trained not to. Weighs 50 pounds; $25 to adopt.

Story
Kacey 801-675-2821Nova is very smart. Very energetic and willing to learn. She is house broke, kennel trained and loves everything outdoors. She would be a good hunting dog if someone had the patience to work with her. She knows her basic commands. She loves toys! She is dedicated to play time. Loves kids and playing with other dogs. But doesn’t really have boundaries around smaller dogs. She loves to watch tv.
