Story
Introducing Jackson, or as we like to call him, Jack Teller - a true survivor who has overcome countless obstacles including cancer. He now lives as a proud, playful tripod.  Despite his rough start, Jack Teller has blossomed into a remarkable companion. Like any dog, he was initially wary of new faces, but it didn't take long for him to realize that there are kind-hearted souls out there who only want to shower him with love and affection. And boy, did he surprise us all! Jack Teller turned out to be the friendliest pup around, melting hearts left and right with his warm greetings and wagging tail. He's not just good with people, but dogs too - a true social butterfly! Like many of our Tx dogs he was treated for heartworms. NOTHING to worry about as this is very common here.  He has since completed his treatment. He's Texas-tough and full of heart! If you're looking for a hiking buddy or simply a furry friend to join you on leisurely strolls, Jackson is your guy. He absolutely loves going on walks and exploring the great outdoors. Plus, he's a pro when it comes to crate training. Talk about an all-around good boy! He's been waiting for you at Spring Branch Rescue for a long time.  To add Jackson to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. He is wagging his tail and wiggling his butt at just the thought of finding his forever home and his story is just beginning! His next chapter could be with you! Jackson is available for LOCAL adoption only. His adoption fee includes all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##1714321##

Story
Tiffani is the perfect package of sweetness, smarts, and playfulness! This lovable girl is as well-rounded as they come and is looking for her forever family to shower with love and loyalty. Tiffani is a friend to everyone—she's fantastic with other dogs and would fit right into a multi-pet home. She’s also great with kids, making her an ideal family dog. With her gentle spirit and playful energy, she knows how to keep everyone entertained while also being incredibly affectionate. When it comes to manners, Tiffani is top-notch! She’s fully housebroken, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. Her intelligence shines through, and she’s always up for learning new tricks or playing with any toy she can find (and she loves them all!). And did we mention her smile? Tiffani has the absolute best grin, which she’ll flash at you anytime she's in her happy place—which, for her, is almost all the time! If you're looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and a playful spirit, Tiffani is ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and endless smiles.  If she's such a good dog, then why hasn't she been adopted yet? Have you ever heard of "black dog syndrome"?  Black Dog Syndrome is a phenomenon where black dogs, especially larger ones, are often overlooked in shelters and rescues, resulting in longer stays and lower adoption rates compared to lighter-colored dogs. By adopting a black dog, you’re not only gaining a devoted pet—you’re breaking stereotypes and saving a life! Tiffani is a well balanced dog that would fit seamlessly into just about any home but her black coat has put her at the bottom of the adoption pool. Look at her smile, look at her energy, look at the love in her eyes... she will be the perfect companion for someone, black fur and all! To add Tiffani to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. She is wagging her tail and wiggling her butt at just the thought of finding her forever home and her story is just beginning. Her next chapter could be with you! Story
Hi I am Rigatoni and I am blind! But that doesn’t stop me! Rigatoni is a small/medium dog who has special needs. Rigatoni is completely blind and is looking for a family who can take care of him and give him the best life. Rigatoni is a super energetic, fun loving puppy looking for his forever home. He loves to run, play with toys, and then pass out in your arms when he’s all tired out. He’s extremely snuggly, kissy, and full of love. He seriously just wants to be close to his people. He also does great with other dogs and especially loves playing with bigger dogs. His favorite thing is carrying around a stuffed toy, playing his heart out, then crashing for tummy rubs and head scratches. He’s the perfect mix of playful and affectionate and just wants a family to love him and grow up with 💛

Story
Meet Rosie! At 9 years old, Rosie has perfected the art of being the sweetest little lady around. She's quiet, gentle, and loves spending her days enjoying peaceful strolls, cozy naps, and soaking up love from her favorite people. But don't let her calm demeanor fool you—mention a tennis ball, and it's game on! Tennis balls are Rosie's absolute favorite thing in the world. If there's a ball hidden anywhere in the room, trust us, Rosie will find it. It's her special talent! As a senior gal, Rosie would prefer a home without young children where she can enjoy the peaceful lifestyle she deserves. She has so much love to give and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal, sweet best friend. This angel is ready to spend her golden years by your side. Come meet Rosie today—you might just fall in love.

Story
Meet Jane!Jane is a 4-year-old Shepherd mix weighing about 40 pounds, and she's the perfect blend of gentle, loving, and loyal. While she can be a little shy when meeting new people and may bark at strangers, she is not aggressive—just a good watchdog looking out for her family. One of Jane's best qualities is her sweet and affectionate nature. She loves spending time with her people, enjoys daily walks, and has a great time playing with other dogs. For a Shepherd mix, she's surprisingly calm and easygoing, making her a wonderful companion for a family looking for a steady, devoted friend.Jane has a medium energy level and would do best in a home with a yard where she can stretch her legs and enjoy some playtime each day. She's well-mannered on a leash and is nearly house trained, though she still benefits from regular reminders and a consistent routine. She occasionally chews on things, but it's rare and easily managed with appropriate toys and supervision.Jane gets along well with other dogs and would likely thrive with a canine companion in the home. Her compatibility with cats and children is currently unknown. Because she enjoys company and interaction, she is not a good candidate for being crated during a typical workday. If you're looking for a loyal, loving dog with a calm temperament, a playful side, and a watchful eye, Jane could be the perfect addition to your family. Her foster family's favorite thing about her is just how sweet and affectionate she is—once she trusts you, she'll be your devoted companion for life. ❤️Dogs are not placed on a first-come first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal, applications may take up to 48 hours to complete. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Jane's adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting Jane, or another CAWS animal, please fill out an application here: http://caws.org/adoption-application.
