Story
Ava is a happy, easy going dog. She is playful and loves to run. I got her a few years ago from the animal shelter and now my work schedule needs me to travel and I am sadly having to rehome her. She’s great playing with other dogs and will play for hours when given the opportunity. She loves long walks and treats. She doesn’t like to be left alone, but can be for several hours. She’s not a fan of being in the crate when she is alone at home. She will stay in her crate. She is great with kids, and would love to be part of an active family.

Story
Anbu's family had 2 little girls 2, and 1 and he did well protecting them and letting them play on him. He hasn't been around other children, so it is unknown how he would be. He lived his life with his adopted brother, an English boxer till last year and they had fun playing together. Anbu can get anxious and likes to carry around various stuffed animals or shoes. He is incredibly intelligent but can be stubborn when bored. His family can no longer keep him due to moving and a divorce, and he would love a new family who likes to run and play or just sit and watch tv.

Story
Introducing Jackson, or as we like to call him, Jack Teller - a true survivor who has overcome countless obstacles including cancer. He now lives as a proud, playful tripod.  Despite his rough start, Jack Teller has blossomed into a remarkable companion. Like any dog, he was initially wary of new faces, but it didn't take long for him to realize that there are kind-hearted souls out there who only want to shower him with love and affection. And boy, did he surprise us all! Jack Teller turned out to be the friendliest pup around, melting hearts left and right with his warm greetings and wagging tail. He's not just good with people, but dogs too - a true social butterfly! Like many of our Tx dogs he was treated for heartworms. NOTHING to worry about as this is very common here.  He has since completed his treatment. He's Texas-tough and full of heart! If you're looking for a hiking buddy or simply a furry friend to join you on leisurely strolls, Jackson is your guy. He absolutely loves going on walks and exploring the great outdoors. Plus, he's a pro when it comes to crate training. Talk about an all-around good boy! He's been waiting for you at Spring Branch Rescue for a long time.  To add Jackson to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. He is wagging his tail and wiggling his butt at just the thought of finding his forever home and his story is just beginning! His next chapter could be with you! Jackson is available for LOCAL adoption only. His adoption fee includes all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##1714321##

Story
Jasper loves to show off his sit and shake tricks, and would love to learn more! This boy is so eager to learn, loves treats, and loves to make his people happy. Jasper came in as a stray with another dog, so he may do well in a home with a companion but shelter staff always recommends meet and greets! Jasper is patiently waiting for a family of his own to come scoop him up.

Story
Tiffani is the perfect package of sweetness, smarts, and playfulness! This lovable girl is as well-rounded as they come and is looking for her forever family to shower with love and loyalty. Tiffani is a friend to everyone—she's fantastic with other dogs and would fit right into a multi-pet home. She’s also great with kids, making her an ideal family dog. With her gentle spirit and playful energy, she knows how to keep everyone entertained while also being incredibly affectionate. When it comes to manners, Tiffani is top-notch! She’s fully housebroken, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. Her intelligence shines through, and she’s always up for learning new tricks or playing with any toy she can find (and she loves them all!). And did we mention her smile? Tiffani has the absolute best grin, which she’ll flash at you anytime she's in her happy place—which, for her, is almost all the time! If you're looking for a loyal companion with a big heart and a playful spirit, Tiffani is ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and endless smiles.  If she's such a good dog, then why hasn't she been adopted yet? Have you ever heard of "black dog syndrome"?  Black Dog Syndrome is a phenomenon where black dogs, especially larger ones, are often overlooked in shelters and rescues, resulting in longer stays and lower adoption rates compared to lighter-colored dogs. By adopting a black dog, you’re not only gaining a devoted pet—you’re breaking stereotypes and saving a life! Tiffani is a well balanced dog that would fit seamlessly into just about any home but her black coat has put her at the bottom of the adoption pool. Look at her smile, look at her energy, look at the love in her eyes... she will be the perfect companion for someone, black fur and all! To add Tiffani to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. She is wagging her tail and wiggling her butt at just the thought of finding her forever home and her story is just beginning. Her next chapter could be with you!
