You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.When we took Kumo into rescue, we thought he was an Akbash mix. Rarely do we do DNA testing but his foster mom was curious, and we were a bit surprised to find out that our boy is an honorary Akbash only. Kumo is a Lab/GSD mix and his love of water and fetching is proof enough! This young boy may have had a rough past before he found himself in a Utah shelter and it has taken a lot of time for him to learn to trust. His circle of friends is small. Kumo needs time and space to warm up to new people. His timing! Kumo has been having a great summer break, doing some traveling with his foster mom and his doggy foster siblings. He does great with all dogs, and cats! And has had a blast as a regular at the dog park. Penny is a good dog. She loves attention, pets, cuddles, walks, being brushed, and sitting right in your personal space. Rarely a barker. Has never left our house or yard without permission. Pulls her leash, but can stay close on a leashless walk. Great with kids and other dogs. Would probably LOVE a dog sibling. She has skin allergies that have taken us a while to find what works well for her. She comes with a brand new bag of food, and her current medication; as well as her crate, blanket, and toys.

Winnie is a sweet 8-year-old lab, with eyes that stare deep into your soul. Winnie is an absolute delight to have in the home. She’s easygoing and loves everyone she meets. She gets along with other dogs and wouldn’t mind another dog in the home. However, she would be perfectly happy as the only dog. In a previous foster home, she adored her young, human foster siblings. She recently attended her foster’s extended family dinner and loved the attention she got from her human foster cousins. She was unphased by a bunch of loud kids running around. Winnie is crate-trained. She is house-trained as long as she gets potty breaks at regular intervals. She has not been cat-tested. Winnie LOVES playing fetch. When she’s waiting for you to throw the ball, she gets the cutest excited hops. She loves to follow her humans around the house and is happy to keep you company while you do house chores. If you’re doing laundry, she’ll bring you any socks that fall out of the basket. Winnie just wants tons of snuggles and someone to throw her ball. She’s a big ol’ ball of love and affection and she’s ready to share that with her forever family. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200.
