Story
Hi, I'm Alder! Life is one big adventure, and I'm always ready for the next one. I'm a smart, active, and confident guy who loves exploring, playing, and making every day exciting. Toys are some of my favorite things, and I'll never turn down a tasty treat while showing off the basic commands I already know. I'm eager to learn even more with a family who will help me continue my training and channel my energy into fun activities. When playtime is over, I'm also an affectionate companion who enjoys spending time with my favorite people. If you're looking for a clever, athletic best friend who will keep you smiling and join you on all of life's adventures, I might be the perfect match!*Qualifies for Pets for Patriots programPlease email Adoptions@saltlakecounty.gov with questions Primary Color: Tan Age: 2yrs 1mths 2wks

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I’m Garden Girl! I’m a 5 month old little girl, listed as a lab mix, and I’ve got some cute white markings on my chest, nose and all my little toes! I weigh almost 20lbs right now so I will grow up to be a medium-large gal! I got my name because I love to explore the garden in my backyard! I’m always sniffing and caught sleeping by the garden, sometimes even jumping in the garden  Potty training and crate training are coming along well! A leash? Still learning that one! Ya know, normal puppy things!  Food obsessed? That’s me, give me all the food! My foster parents call me and my sister puppy piranhas. I love playing with toys, my dog siblings, and snuggling when I’m tired. I also love to hangout in a camp chair, can you say camping buddy?! I would love to have a doggy sibling to teach me about life, but will love you just the same if I am a solo pup as well  I have met a couple of kids that were about 8 and all I wanted to do was snuggle them and sniff them all over  Apply to meet my sweet little self here  : https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 3, 2026, 1:42 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, I’m McRae  I’m a 5 month old little girl, they tell me I’m a lab mix, but your guess is as good as mine! Check out my adorable ears and my scrumptious white toes  I weigh almost 20lbs right now so I will grow up to be a medium-large gal! What can I say, I am just your typical puppy gal working on basic puppy commands/manners, working on being a good girl in my crate (with the help of snacks or course), and starting to grasp potty training (I love the positive reinforcement it gets me so happy and excited!) I am obsessed with food, give me all the food! My foster parents call me and my sister puppy piranhas I love to play with my toys, my dog siblings, and I love water!! I love to drink it, splash it, and to walk in a pool of it, scroll through my photos for proof!  I would love to have a doggy sibling to teach me about life, but will love you just the same if I am a solo pup as well  I have met a couple of kids that were about 8 and all I wanted to do was snuggle them and kiss them all over  If you’re looking for an adorable, active, medium energy gal to give you lots of love and kisses, apply to meet me here : https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 3, 2026, 1:42 pm

Story
We'd love to introduce you to this goofy pup, Max. He's a sweet older gentleman who would love to meet his new best friend. He has lived with cats in the past and does well with dogs. He’d love nothing more than to cuddle up on the couch with someone. Also, with the perks of being house-trained, he would make someone a wonderful companion. If you would like to meet Max, please feel free to reach out. Visit www.cachehumane.org for more information on how to adopt me!

Story
Meet Otis, a smart, affectionate pup who loves staying active and close to his people. He enjoys sniffy walks, running, tug, and relaxing at a café patio or balcony where he can watch the world go by. Otis has made wonderful progress in his foster homes—he settles easily, sleeps through the night, and is fully house trained with a consistent routine. He’s social and gentle with people, greeting strangers calmly and enjoying quiet companionship without needing constant attention. Otis walks well on leash in familiar areas and continues to improve with guidance, showing great focus and responsiveness. He would thrive with an experienced adopter who can provide structure, enrichment, and plenty of opportunities for both activity and relaxation. To meet Otis, visit the Best Friends Pet Adoption Center at 2005 S 1100 E in Salt Lake City. We're open daily from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. You can also email us at utahadoptions@bestfriends.org. Please remember, pets cannot be held or reserved. Come by and see if Otis is the perfect match for you!
