You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, I’m Stella Artemis! I’m a 2 year old lab mix and I weigh about 70 lbs. I’m a huge lover - I love people, I love to play, I love food, and I love you! I’m great in the crate and riding in the car. I love my walks and I need to work on my pulling a little bit, but I like training and am a very quick learner.   I’m fully house trained and know how to settle when we’re just hanging out. Because I’m so big, I would recommend being with kids that are at least 8 and up - I don’t jump, but I’m strong. I know how to read people and dogs really well - if you don’t want to play, that’s fine! I have a beautiful ash-colored coat that is as soft as my heart is kind.  I am calm and quiet, and my foster dad says I have a sweet, loving way about me.   I'm impressively well mannered! House trained - I use the doggy door on my own.  I walk nicely on a leash too. I'm great with other dogs - I live with ten right now, and I get along great with all of them. You can find me snuggled up to one of them or having fun matching their energy or just napping alone - I fit in just fine with all levels of energy.   I would love to give you my loving gentleness - but I am quite nervous of this new world with loving humans - but I'm learning and need a human that is kind and gentle, who will be  patient and loving with me! I’m a 5-month-old Shar Pei/Lab mix with a soft heart, squishy face, and what I believe is a professional-level love for snacks. Bananas? Yes. Raspberries? Absolutely. Cheese? My personality trait. Bread? Don’t even get me started. If you’re looking for a treat-motivated best friend… I’m basically a tiny, adorable food critic. I’m still working on my potty training—I promise I’m trying really hard! I just need a little patience and encouragement while I figure it out. The good news? I’m kennel trained like a champ. I sleep quietly through the whole night (a solid 8 hours of beauty rest, thank you very much) and keep my space clean. I’m currently in my “teething era,” but don’t worry—I stick to my toys and leave your furniture alone. I may be young, but I respect a good couch. Personality-wise, I’m a gentle little soul. I’d say I’m about a 4/10 on the energy scale—more “cozy companion” than “chaotic tornado.” I can be a bit shy at first, but once I feel safe, I turn into a total lovebug. Pick me up and I’ll melt right into you. Give me pets and I’ll immediately flip over for belly rubs—it’s kind of my signature move. I love being around humans and other dogs (friends are my favorite!), and while I haven’t officially met any cats yet, I’m so gentle and easygoing that I’d probably do just fine with a dog-savvy kitty. I don’t have a strong prey drive—honestly, I’m more interested in snacks than chasing anything. One little thing about me—I’m sensitive. If I think you’re upset, I might pancake myself to the ground like a sad little rug. I respond best to kind words, encouragement, and positive praise. I really just want to make you happy. So if you’re looking for a sweet, soft, slightly snack-obsessed cuddle buddy who will love you with her whole heart (and then ask if you have any cheese), I might just be your girl.
