Story
King is such a happy pup around 1 year old with plenty of energy to share! He’s very friendly with people and gets so excited to say hello. He LOVES having doggy friends to play with and especially enjoys wrestling with them, playing tug-of-war and chasing a ball or frisbee. He also likes car rides and is a big fan of treats, which makes working on his training easy and rewarding. He already knows “sit” and “down” and is doing great with potty training. If you’re looking for a fun, friendly pup who’s always ready to head out on an adventure, King would love to spend some time with you!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. When we took Kumo into rescue, we thought he was an Akbash mix. Rarely do we do DNA testing but his foster mom was curious, and we were a bit surprised to find out that our boy is an honorary Akbash only. Kumo is a Lab/GSD mix and his love of water and fetching is proof enough! This young boy may have had a rough past before he found himself in a Utah shelter and it has taken a lot of time for him to learn to trust. His circle of friends is small. Kumo needs time and space to warm up to new people. His timing! Kumo has been having a great summer break, doing some traveling with his foster mom and his doggy foster siblings. He does great with all dogs, and cats! And has had a blast as a regular at the dog park. Kumo is being fostered in ID.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 10, 2026, 2:23 pm

Story
Meet Java, a 5-month-old 20 pound bundle of pure joy! While her exact breed is a mystery—perhaps a bit of Shepherd mix in the blend—she is 100% adorable. With a smile that will melt your heart and hilarious puppy antics like tail-chasing, Java promises to keep you laughing every day.Personality: Java can be a little timid around new people, places, or loud sounds at first, but it doesn't take her long to warm up. Once she feels comfortable, she becomes your loyal little shadow and an overall happy-go-lucky companion who loves to snuggle just as much as she loves to play.Smart & Adaptable: This quick learner is already housetrained, crate trained, and getting the hang of using a dog door. She is currently working on her basic commands and eagerly picks up new routines.Social Life: Java gets along great with other dogs and loves playing with her toy collection. She did wonderfully with kids in a previous foster home. While she is a bit nervous around cats, she should do just fine with slow, patient introductions.Java is ready to find a loving home where she can continue building her confidence, sharing endless puppy snuggles, and showering her forever family with affection!Dogs are not placed on a first-come first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal, applications may take up to 48 hours to complete. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Java's adoption fee is $300. Story
If you’re looking for a best friend who loves to snuggle, chase balls, chew sticks and eat delicious snacks, look no further because I’m your boy! Bo is my name, and charming humans is my game. I’m a goofy, playful lab mix hoping to find a home with adventurous humans and maybe another playful pup.I am in a foster home with my sister, Billie, and sometimes I rely on her or the resident dog to show me how to do new things - like navigate stairs or walk on a leash. I can be timid and I really like to be with other dogs or snuggled next to a human, so even though I’m crate trained, I might struggle on my own. I’m super smart and especially good at following the lead of other well-mannered dogs. I can already sit, sleep in my crate, and come when called. I love toys and chewing, so training and exercise is a requirement. I am an unusually chill guy, who plays hard but can settle next to humans or in my crate for extended periods of time. I haven’t had an accident in the house in three weeks! I love to wrestle, although sometimes I get overwhelmed or scared of older dogs and hide from them, so I still need a watchful human taking care of me. I am a bit nervous on walks and I get distracted by my desire to wrestle my sister or bark at new things. I’m learning new things everyday, and I have a very sweet demeanor. I have only been around kids a couple of times, but I loved them. I am a puppy so I jump a lot, and that might not make me the best fit for really young children. I do live with two cats, and sometimes they like me, sometimes they run from me. My foster mom believes that if you invest a little time and attention in me, I’d be a dream dog for almost any family.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Story
Meet Willow! This sweet 2-year-old, 27-pound mixed breed is a total lovebug who just wants to be wherever her people are. She’s happiest curled up beside you on the couch, snuggling in bed, or playing with her doggy friends. She’s also wonderful with babies and has been incredibly gentle and respectful with her foster family’s 3-month-old.Willow is house trained, knows “sit” and “lay down,” and is smart and eager to learn. She enjoys walks, sniffing, running, and playing with other dogs, but she’s just as happy relaxing at home with her favorite people. She can be nervous around unfamiliar men and has some separation anxiety, so she’ll need a patient adopter willing to continue working with her. Her leash manners also need improvement, and she can be reactive when she sees other dogs while walking.Willow would love a home with a calm, respectful dog, but she could also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who wants to be your little shadow, Willow might be your girl! ❤️Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200.
