Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. When we took Kumo into rescue, we thought he was an Akbash mix. Rarely do we do DNA testing but his foster mom was curious, and we were a bit surprised to find out that our boy is an honorary Akbash only. Kumo is a Lab/GSD mix and his love of water and fetching is proof enough! This young boy may have had a rough past before he found himself in a Utah shelter and it has taken a lot of time for him to learn to trust. His circle of friends is small. Kumo needs time and space to warm up to new people. His timing! Kumo has been having a great summer break, doing some traveling with his foster mom and his doggy foster siblings. He does great with all dogs, and cats! And has had a blast as a regular at the dog park. Kumo is being fostered in ID.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 15, 2026, 11:09 am

Story
If you’re looking for a best friend who loves to snuggle, chase balls, chew sticks and eat delicious snacks, look no further because I’m your boy! Bo is my name, and charming humans is my game. I’m a goofy, playful lab mix hoping to find a home with adventurous humans and maybe another playful pup.I am in a foster home with my sister, Billie, and sometimes I rely on her or the resident dog to show me how to do new things - like navigate stairs or walk on a leash. I can be timid and I really like to be with other dogs or snuggled next to a human, so even though I’m crate trained, I might struggle on my own. I’m super smart and especially good at following the lead of other well-mannered dogs. I can already sit, sleep in my crate, and come when called. I love toys and chewing, so training and exercise is a requirement. I am an unusually chill guy, who plays hard but can settle next to humans or in my crate for extended periods of time. I haven’t had an accident in the house in three weeks! I love to wrestle, although sometimes I get overwhelmed or scared of older dogs and hide from them, so I still need a watchful human taking care of me. I am a bit nervous on walks and I get distracted by my desire to wrestle my sister or bark at new things. I’m learning new things everyday, and I have a very sweet demeanor. I have only been around kids a couple of times, but I loved them. I am a puppy so I jump a lot, and that might not make me the best fit for really young children. I do live with two cats, and sometimes they like me, sometimes they run from me. My foster mom believes that if you invest a little time and attention in me, I’d be a dream dog for almost any family.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Story
Meet Georgia Peach! Georgia Peach is a 8 month old, 35 pound, lab mix who is the most darling girl you will ever meet! Georgia Peach is a perfect companion who is just looking for a family where she can receive unlimited cuddles and pets. She is the biggest sweetheart and loves to give you lots of love and kisses, so much so that she has no sense of personal space. She can be a little shy when meeting new people but warms up quickly and will start to wiggle her butt and let you know she is so happy to see you. Georgia Peach also loves toys and her own doggy bed, although if you are laying down, she will want to cuddle up right beside you.She enjoys the company of her canine companions and will run and play with them for as long as she can. She loves to lounge outside in the sun. She is a puppy and has a lot of energy but also loves relaxing with her humans. Once we are laying down, she enjoys laying next to us with a good chew toy. As long as she is with her loved ones, she is a happy lady. She is happiest when she is laying next to her loved ones watching a movie. She is crate trained and potty trained, but she is still a puppy so being vigilant about letting her outside will help her stay fully potty trained. She sleeps great in a crate during the night but will definitely love to sleep in bed with her family. She is currently learning basic commands (sit, stay, lay down, come.) She doesn’t counter surf, chew furniture, shoes, etc. She is energetic sweet, and gentle. Georgia Peach is just a sweet girl who is looking for her forever home where she can show how unconditionally she loves her family.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Story
I adopted Blue in 2019 from a rescue shelter in Georgia. He has been my companion ever since. Blue is very well behaved and loves the outdoors. His favorite hobbies are swimming, hiking, fetch, walking, chasing squirrels, and napping. Blue has anxiety and needs to be with an owner with experience handling anxious and reactive dogs. He is reactive to strangers trying to pet him or other dogs (mostly males) who come into his personal bubble. Being active is the best way to mitigate his anxiety. He requires daily exercise and mental stimulation. Due to a full time schedule and uncertainty surrounding my career I’ve decided to look for the right new home for him. The ideal home is a stable family who enjoys outdoor activities that Blue can be a part of. Ideally no other dogs but a female dog is possible. Kids are fine as long as they are well behaved and understand boundaries. Blue likes his space at times. If he wants attention he will let you know.

Story
Meet Tigger, a Basset Hound "wannabe." Tigger's story almost ended too soon. He landed on the euthanasia list at a high-kill shelter alongside his Basset buddy. Thankfully, UFBH stepped in and saved them both. Once in rescue, we discovered they weren't bonded, so Tigger is ready to find his very own family.Full of life and charm, Tigger is bursting with energy. He loves romping and wrestling with the dogs in his foster home; always ready for the next round of play. He's smart, responsive to training, and eager to please; an adventurous spirit with a bright mind. Tigger would thrive in a home that can keep up with his zest for life; one where he can run, play, learn new things, and be part of the action. Above all, Tigger loves people. He'll never say no to toys, games, or a good cuddle session after a day of fun. This handsome boy is ready to bring laughter, adventure, and unconditional love to the lucky family who opens their heart to him.
