Story
SCARLETT is a sweet, gentle soul with a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. This beautiful little girl may be a bit shy when you first meet her, as she’s still learning that the world can be a safe and kind place. Having come from a difficult start, she takes a little time to trust—but once she realizes she’s safe, SCARLETT blossoms into the most loyal and affectionate companion you could ask for. She absolutely adores other dogs and enjoys the comfort of both furry and human friends. SCARLETT has a playful side too—she loves her toys and gets excited for walks, where she can explore and build her confidence. With a patient and loving home, she continues to come out of her shell more each day. SCARLETT would make a wonderful addition to an active family or household that can give her the time, love, and reassurance she deserves. In return, she’ll give you a lifetime of loyalty, companionship, and unconditional love.

Story
Run, don’t walk and snatch this cutie up before you lose out on the opportunity because Chevy Teddy won’t be available long! When we say he is absolute perfection, especially considering his age, please believe it! His personality is by far the sweetest and his energy is so mellow it’ll actually make you laugh. Could some say he’s a little lazy? Sure LOL… but we say he’s the chillest, most unbothered little prince we’ve ever met! Not only is his personality the absolute best, but he’s also stinking adorable. I mean, just look at that forever puppy dog face and those massive feet! He’s got big dog features in a perfectly medium-sized package and it’s ridiculously cute. Watch his video and you’ll be head over heels for him: https://youtu.be/RZW3vYvLV80?si=zsVebEhh205olZN7 Chevy Teddy is believed to be a lab mix approximately 6 months old and currently weighs about 37 lbs. One of the very first things we noticed about Chevy is his energy level!! Most pups his age are basically little toddlers (if we’re being honest LOL), testing boundaries, bouncing off the walls, full of chaos. Not Chevy though! He has a naturally relaxed, easygoing demeanor that feels way beyond his age. Of course, he still has playful moments, he’s not a total couch potato (unless you want him to be… because he will absolutely lean into that lifestyle), but overall he’s just more mellow and mature than most 6–7 month old pups we’ve met and we LOVE that about him. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Chevy is dog friendly and has gotten along great with every dog we’ve introduced him to. He’s been around dominant dogs, shy dogs, playful dogs, and more laid-back “just here to hang out” types and he’s been a perfect little prince with all of them. He does great meeting dogs both on and off leash and has really beautiful social skills already. Chevy is just a little baby that has a gentle playstyle when he does play. He’ll happily play when invited, but he also enjoys those calm hangout moments just as much. He also is more on the submissive side too. With some of the dogs he’s been with, he would immediately roll over and give them his belly. It was the sweetest thing. In a home, he will do best with a dog that enjoys gentle light hearted play sessions, knows when to take play breaks, and a confident doggy friend that Chevy can learn from and continue to build his confidence. When he’s not engaging in gentle play, he’s off exploring, using that Lab nose of his, or he’s melted in the grass getting affection from his people. Chevy is great about sharing treats and toys with other dogs too. While we’d love to see him in a home with a doggy sibling to grow up with, he would also be completely happy as you're one and only. He also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. Chevy did not chase Biggie, nor was he bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Biggie also felt comfortable around him as well. We do not know if he has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing him with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for him to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! For his age, Chevy is already so well behaved and seems to have wonderful house manners. He’s working on mastering his leash skills and he already knows a few basic commands like sit, takes treats gently, and is eager to please. He’s a smart boy who genuinely enjoys learning, which makes training something you’ll both have fun with. Chevy is also crate trained (might need a tiny booty nudge to get all the way in LOL, but once he’s in, he’s great). From what we’ve seen so far, he also appears to be potty trained. Chevy may just need a little guidance in a new home, but he’ll pick it up quickly. Chevy would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can stretch his legs, play with his toys, and lounge in the sun. It doesn’t take much to make this bo happy, just a good walk, some playtime, or even a puzzle toy session at home will keep him happy. And truthfully? He’s just as happy being your couch potato. So get ready for cozy movie nights and lazy Sundays, because Chevy will be right there next to you, living his best chill life. He’s the perfect mix of playful and relaxed. The best of both worlds and an all-around incredible dog. We are willing to test Chevy Teddy with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen!
