Hi, I’m Champ, a red Lab mix weighing in at a solid 75 pounds of opinions. My records say I was born February 12, 2011, but honestly, who knows? They also say I’m 12, but my foster thinks I’m closer to 10. Either way, I’m old enough to know what I like — and what I don’t. Let’s get this straight: I’m a grump. Not in a “mean” way — more in a “I have boundaries and I enforce them” way. I need slow introductions and downtime to decompress. If you rush me, I’ll give you the look. If you touch my butt without permission (looking at you, Kevin), I might remind you that I’m not a fan of surprise contact. My Ideal Life No kids. I don’t do chaos or sticky fingers. Dogs? I’m very selective. Think VIP list, not open admission. Cats? Jury’s still out. Humans? Once I trust you, I’m all in — I love being petted and will happily share your bed like the dignified couch potato I am. I’m neutered, I walk well on a leash, enjoy calm strolls, and prefer naps over marathons. Personality Summary Grumpy, but honest about it. Couch potato with strong opinions. Loves affection — on his terms. Needs a patient, respectful human who gets that “grumpy” doesn’t mean “bad.” I am in Hampton, VA but can be transferred to other locations for the right home. Please note, a transport fee may apply if volunteer transport cannot be found. Hi there, I'm Boo, a sweet and fluffy mixed breed (maybe Jack Russel Terrier and lab mix) with white fur and tan spots. I'm about 5 years old and weigh 55 pounds. I'm looking for a loving and caring family who can give me a forever home. I would do well with children, but I recommend older kids because of my size and energy level. I have grown a community of love and support around me. One of my favorite things to do is to visit my friends at the pet store who practice my training (sit, paw, etc.) with me and give me yummy treats! I'm a happy boy who loves to play with other dogs all the time. I have not been cat-tested but can be if you’d like. I love toys and bringing them outside in the yard to play with. I do like to bury some of my toys too. If you look closely at my photos, you may notice that my front left foot is oddly bent. The vet thinks it was broken and simply healed this way. It doesn’t hurt me or slow me down at all. As you can see from my videos, I still have a great time playing. There really isn’t any need to do anything about it. I just wanted to let you know why my “high five” looks more like a sly five. I absolutely adore Zoomies, splashing around in my swimming pool, playing fetch, and getting belly rubs. There's nothing better than a good romp around followed by some quality couch-potato time. I'm neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative. I'm also potty and crate trained. I'm currently being fostered in Clemmons, NC, but can be transported to other states for my perfect match family. Luna is a beloved pet. My husband and I rescued her in March 2021. My husband worked from home however my job has me traveling frequently. My husband passed away this summer. I thought I could manage Luna with my work travel, however I find that I am boarding her more than she is home. Luna needs people. She loves to cuddle. She is a couch potato!! She is amazing with kids, other dogs and life in general. She does have skin allergies that are controlled by Apoquel. I have listed an adoption fee only to ensure that potential new puppy parents are serious. Luna is house trained. We have doggie doors and she goes in and out all day as needed. Luna can be fed once per day. She does not gobble food. She eats when she needs to. She is a bit of a grazer. She is loved beyond words. It is because of the love I have for her that I want to find a home where she will get the physical love and emotional connection that she needs. I hope a family with kids would love to add a fur baby to their clan
